I have this TV, bought it for £599 November last year. Its a good tv, there are reports of light bleeding but haven't been a problem for me.

Crampton have it for £579. So do a John Lewis price match to get the 5 year warranty.
How is this for gaming in regards to input lag?

Street fighter is currently unplayable on my current set.
nice is the replacement ks7000 model?

7/10. Had 2 Sony's before this (forced to exchange both through John Lewis) and they were definitely better but still solid enough. Best interface i've seen on a TV though incredibly fluid and user friendly.

Sadly, I think the £579 is an "open box" unit, in store only, so JL unlikely to PM it?
This TV is awesome
Great TV! I paid £899.

Terrible replacement, the ks7000 is better.
I'm sure this has been 600 for a while in RS. Was hoping it would drop to 550 with Easter

Thanks
bought the 49 INCH version of this tv! Love the interface and the usability. There is a tiny bleed at the bottom of the screen but does not affect the picture majorly.

One major thing i have noticed - Football is difficult to watch at times as the HD cannot keep up with the pace of the game and therefore can feel like a lag in picture.

Would agree with the 7/10 rating.

Would give 9/10 if I didnt watch football.
I have this bought it at £600+ the smart remote is very good. You control anything connected to TV like sky box etc
I bought this TV late last year for this price, it's awesome!
I watch football in HD (via bt sports) and play COD regularly on an Xbox one s, I haven't noticed any bleed or lag.
The OS (Eden) however is brilliant, very smooth and user friendly. After years of LG's webOS I was reluctant to by a Samsung, not any more. Best decision I've made....

The only thing free is the UHD rentals, as the minimum price of a decent all in one sound bar is 400 odd quid. But yes you can claim cash back within 60 days on a soundbar or UHD player.

Shame it's got an IPS Panel.

And a few people have had issues with light bleed, friend of mine went through 3 sets until he gave up on this model.

Could anyone with more of a TV brain please tell me if this is suitable for 4k hr on an Xbox one?
Nice post. Is it worth shelling the extra ££ for OLED/QLED or is that just a TV Gimmick, like 3D?

I was looking into this and have been unable to find a £200 sound bar or £200 sub woofer on John Lewis or richer sounds.

There is a woofer and sound bar for £160, the others seem to be a lot more expensive.

Doesnt seem easy to have advantage of the deal fro what I can see.
Not true HDR as it only has an 8bit panel so seems expensive compared to Hisense models that are better spec.
Has anyone had to deal with Richer Sounds before? Are they accommodating with the likes of back lighting issues or anything else for that matter? Or would John Lewis be a better shout for a new tv? Thinking ahead as I’m redoing my front room and a big tv is on the horizon

I've been buying all my electronics through RS for the last 20 years, other than a Panasonic tv. Only ever had to take a sub back once and they exchanged for the equivalent newer model no questions. I like that they actually know what they're taking about. Quite tough to get a job there I'm told for that reason.

Only thing to be wary of is they have partnership with a couple comps, marrantz are one I think, so they might sway you towards specific goods sometimes but generally with good reason in my experience.

I wish I had brought the Panasonic tv there as it died after 5 years and they would've covered it where the panasonic shop wouldn't as only had 5yr cover.
