Yes you could but that LG has a RGBW panel. Which isn't a 4k panel so yeah good luck with that

What more do you want for that price?

This is a fantastic TV for the money.

I bought it last week with John Lewis Price match for £689. Not at all disappointed.

Its a 4k UHD TV and 55". Fair enough its only a 8bit with upscaling to 10bit, but true 10bits will cost alot more.

Including the 5 year Guarantee from John lewis, its an amazing price!!

Indeed I also got the 689 price match, but held off for a few days, which in itself was a great price. The 5year JL guarantee is a winner.

The 850 of mine turned up today from Argos that I got for £719, very easy to set up and the calibration settings here seem to work well for it. but time will tell in the coming days

Just watched Mad Max Fury Road in 10 bit 2160p. Truly stunning. Found out the TV isn't suited for 7.1 sound through its speakers (not unsurprising) so a soundbar will be needed for this type of soundtrack. The only other slightly niggly thing for some may be the edge lighting shows a bit on the black bars at the top and bottom in a dark room. Didn't bother me, but |I know it would some. Didn't affect or show on the actual display picture in anyway though

Will be trying out the Matrix browser which is meant to work on LG TV's out i the next few days, to see if it actually does for iptv?

I have noticed every retailer has put these back up to the £900-1100 mark at the moment so I assume the 14 day sell price then reduce back down for Black Friday could be in effect? If you have a budget of £700-750 and the 850v comes back down to that price, well worth considering.

Thank you for the quick review buddy :-)
