Great TV (MU7000) at £725...I'd snap it up at this price
I was tempted by this but I think I'm going to go with the Sony xe9005. That's a better TV right?
Damn it's back down to price I paid for it but I had a faulty one and didn't take the chance again. But I've missed it. Tempted to give it another chance as this is a great price for the this TV.

Do you know if the Sony xe9005 is a decent enough TV for the money? It's £999

Half the price of the OLED I posted and is still a good tv for the money which gives it 74% Best Buy
Bought one last week at £749. Delighted with it.
Paid £729 from John Lewis earlier this year. Loving the TV so far, no issues at all with it.

I had the same decision and choose the 55MU7000, even if the same price id still pick the Samsung . Sony is nice TV but I didn’t find it as bright or interface as fluid as the Samsung, in fact even messing with the settings I was disappointed despite the hype of the Sony. Now having said that the Sony XE9305 was in a different league to both the Sonyxe9005 and SamsungMU7000/.

I had to opportunity to play as PS4 pro on the XE9005 and the 55MU7000 and again found it handled Fifa/Horizon much better—I couldn’t recommended the 55MU7000 more highly at this price.

I've had your deal in basket since last night. Can't decide to pay double. Or try the Samsung again...
Voted hot and just bought.

Going on reviews, this TV appears now to have the best price to excellent reviews ratio.
I'm reading loads of positives about this set for the money, including low latency so gaming friendly. The narrow viewing angles are a concern though, if true, with one review saying contrast starts to be affected from around 25 degrees.

Does anyone who owns this set agree or disagree with this?

Yes, I just bought it. It's excellent
You could also look at the LG 55SJ850 for gaming as it's got low lag and is a decent TV. Sits at the 750 mark

What was your decision in the end? I'm looking at the Q7F or something similar, but also debating something a little cheaper. Such a tough decision!!

I wanted this but heard it's really bad for Black's. The set looks nice nearly as appealing as the LG b7 oled

In person it didn't look as sleek as the Sony and the content didn't wow as much as the Sony but it's had good reviews so I guess it would be a safe bet. Depends on the budget and what you are willing to sacrifice
How does this compare to say the Panasonic EX750?
Peak luminance for this device ?
Does the code only work with online purchases? I'm looking at the 65 inch version but that's only available in store.

Not sure what bad for blacks means but this TV is amazing for this price.
I made a big mistake purchasing Sony X9005 which hits peak luminance around 750 nits. Its easy for us to purchase i.e. xe9305 with peak luminance of over 1400 nits. HDR content requires 1000 nits atleast. The difference between the two models is about approx. 200 to 300 pounds trust me when someone wants a TV to keep for atleast over 5 years it's worth spending extra 200 to 300. Applies to any other TV as well.

The 9305e has very bad blooming

Yeah, I meant mu7000
If you want blacks to be black, then this TV it's not for you.
MarSet3 m ago

Yeah, I meant mu7000

Thats what I initially thought but according to some of the best reviewers it had way less blooming than the latest 2018 Sony XF series and mine XE9005. But one thing try spending more on a TV with atleast over 1000 nits of peak brightness.

Went for the mu7000. 2% Quidco also bringing it to near £700.
To be honest Im not a TV buff and don't think I'll notice many of the things people talk about on here. General consensus is it's well reviewed and people seem to be very please with it. I like Samsung and LG product more than Sony so that also swung my choice. The Q6F is £150 more also.

What's it like for gaming? This burn is a worry for me
Would JL price match this?
