Welcome to the site @Bubba_Smith - nice first deal
Good deal best there is at moment shame not back down to £669 though
Welcome to a fellow Brexiteer.

Good spot and keep up the campaigning.
Having looked at both TVs mu7000 and the q6fam If you are buying this just for 4K and general tv watching I would try and get the q6fam as the brightness is better and this in my opinion makes 4K better and also SD channels look better as it has better picture settings but if you like your gaming this tv is for you and a steal as PS4 pro god of war looks unbelievable on it

Which one is the q6fam?
Hughes have the 65” version for £1079 which JL will price match. Waiting for this one to hit a grand before I bite
This or LG 55sj850v??
Great deal. I bought this 3 months ago for £700 from richer sounds. Very happy with everything about it. The viewing angles are great and no issues with brightness. I contacted the store via email interested in the Samsung 6400 and they offered me a discount on this model which I believe in this price range is the best value for money.

Weird that everyone else says the viewing angles are poor.
Thanks for that, I just bought it from JL yesterday at £729 (price matched at £719 with Crampton & Moore), but sent another price match with RS! I already have the 49inch version of this TV, and it is good (better than EX9005 in my opinion, which I sent back to JL, I found the brightness not as vibrant as the samsung) but obviously not as good as an OLED. I have quite high expectation for the 55inch model which apparently has a better panel. At this price I can't think of a better TV on the market, unless you are ready to go up to £900+. Heat added

everyone else? I wonder how many people have actually been to check the viewing angles themselves instead of just reading a website review or forum comment.

I've had a look at it in John Lewis and other owners of this set on HUKD have mentioned it washes out very quickly at angles. I don't think it's all just bah humbug reviewers, but glad you're happy with yours.

I'm still very much considering it.

You sound like me. I was looking since before last years Black Friday and it sounds like you are taking the best approach ( slow and methodical). I worked out my viewing angles and size of TV for my room, set my budget and read multiple specs, reviews and forums and narrowed my list down to 7 different TVs. Then went and viewed the TVs and took my own input and for me this was the standout winner for my circumstances.
i could have got better for more money ( obviously ) but at some point I had to say pound for pound TV “x” is the best for me.
i couldn’t recommend Richer sounds highly enough. They offered me a 10% discount on the TV and also didn’t get involved in pressurised sales techniques.

Yeah, I'm a big fan of RS. Got plenty of gear from them over the years. I just need to sort out someone to help me pick the thing up and I'll probably go for it.

I don't drive and would rather avoid paying for a cab if I can sort a chauffeur from within the ranks.
This TV seems to reappear here every other day!
I have been checking daily for this TV .. really want to bite the bullet and just buy it .. but if the price comes down any further i would be fuming lol .. does anyone reckon there will could be a big drop out of nowhere .. possibly around the £599 (in the next 2- 4 months say)

Highly doubt it will fit in the original packaging. Maybe OK if you remove from the box. The boxes are so long and bulky that its doubtful this would fit
