I've been looking at this 55in Tv and as this comes with a free Blu ray player I think it's a good deal as the Blu ray player is over £100 by itself - richer sounds should match and beat this bundle I think - comes with free 5 year warranty does anyone have any idea how the warranty works ?

£749 was £699, then £798, back down again.
Will Richer Sounds price match PRCDirect?

I have this on a 28 day price match of £699 with John Lewis. Decisions decisions...
Was in Hughes yesterday, it's £698 on their system (£798 online). Was going to get one but I think I'll wait for the clearance of the 55Q7F.

Ditto but the motion blur has put me off especially as I am upgrading from a plasma. Might just hang on a bit longer for the KD55XE9005 to drop in price

The hughes offer of £698 is without 5year guarantee!

Yeah, I then went to the Samsung store and they said they'd price match. Pretty sure that would include the 5 year guarantee/or you could get John Lewis to price match.

Ive currently got an LG plasma and I am thinking of upgrading.
I might have to wait a bit longer because it seems that apart from maybe oled, there is not much to offer as a replacement for my current tv

I was in Currys earlier and luckily for me they had the MU7000, 8000, 9000 and the LG oled all in line and the oled was like watching a plasma and was spot on. The others had too much motion blur, the oled had none. The qled was decent but still not as good as the oled

its the viewing angles for me too. The Oleds look great no matter were you sit. The mu700p is awful when off centre! colours all washed out.
Richer Sounds price matched PRCdirect on boxing day for me. Got it for £699. Very pleased with it.

Most reviews seem to agree, that this is the best TV in this size for under £1000.

Netflix and Amazon 4k HDR content looks great, as do 4k Blu-ray's. Ordinary Blu-ray's look very good too of course.

Our large sofa is directly in front of the TV, so the viewing angles weren't a concern for us, but it's not as bad as some would have you believe, but being directly in front of it is of course optimal.

How long have they been making TV's without headphone jacks now? I can't be doing with all these dumb changes. I spent money on a nifty set of headphones a couple of years back and I want to bloody use them please. I had finally made my mind up to buy this TV but then I saw this and was like, "Oh ffs."

John Lewis price match is a joke , tried to get them to price match this TV against Curry's £729 (£799 -£70 Discount using TV70) they would not price match this because it was out of stock at Curry's at the time even though I said if it was in stock I wouldn't need them to price match it.

Just asked them to price match it at Coop electrical at £748 (£798 - £50 using code PCT50) they will not match this because ...

Thank you for your price match request for the Samsung UE55MU7000 HDR 1000 4K Ultra HD Smart TV, 55".

Regrettably we cannot use the voucher code PCT50 as it is not displayed on the competitor's website: it is found at Hot UK Deals.

Therefore I cannot agree to your request on this occasion. For further information on our Never Knowingly Undersold policy, please follow the link below.
