Please be aware of the big problem that affects all Samsung NU7000 series Smart TV'S. As they've cut costs and put in only 1gb of storage, of which 100mb is usable. After only a few months when the Samsung apps need to update it'll ask you to free up over 100mb more space, which you cannot as the default apps cannot be removed. Meaning all your apps will be outdated and you eventually will have no space for new apps. This has happened to me after only half a year.
I love my 65" NU7400, but this problem means it will not work properly as a smart TV.
Take a look at this huge thread for details, like many others I'm fighting to get a replacement /refund:

Unbelivable price for a decent 55....even the pre coupon price is so cheap I'm tempted to replace my Sony in the.living room which isn't 4k but otherwise perfectly fine in every way

What's the warranty on this?
Apple TV app on this one?

What's the warranty on this?

From the website: 'All our products come with a minimum of 12 months manufacturers' warranty, unless stated.' Worth double checking though! 30 day returns through eBay which is better than the website.

Hi all. Please note that Apple TV and Apple Airplay are not currently available on UE**NU7020/21 and UE**7120/21 TV's.

We are currently working on enabling this functionality and it will be enabled via a Firmware update. We have no timescale for this to occur but please make sure your TV firmware is always up to date.
Should I go for this Samsung 55”...

...or this Phillips 50” with ambilight?

Well, bought loads of 4K iTunes movies when on offer still need a tv to watch those . For the price it is great! Sold 40” for £100 less than this one. I guess I can take my chances for Apple TV to be available with this price.
Bought!

Thanks for sharing. Though I have the 49" version of this tv, it's 9 months old and I'm running about 10 apps with no issues regarding updates at all. So I wouldn't say it will effect everyone.

I know! My latest phonecall to Samsung had them factory resetting the smart hub, which after that update I had 100mb free but needed an extra 130mb just for the default apps!

You must be very lucky then, after reading through the samsung forum posts it's been concluded that it will happen to every NU7000 TV due to the design flaw of not having enough storage space to begin with.

No way to use it with external storage?

No way to use it with external storage?

You can for the apps you download. But the big issue is the non - removable apps will not be able to update because of the lack of internal storage. So netflix, prime, bbc, itv, channel 4, 5. Will all be outdated and they could eventually drop support for the old versions.
The same memory problem in sharp TV's , you have to switch tv off and on to deal with memory problems,
