Discover how good your content can look

Take your home viewing up a notch and witness all your favourite content come to life with the Samsung UE58RU7100KXXU 58" Smart 4K Ultra HD HDR LED TV.

With HDR technology you'll get scene-by-scene image mastering, so you'll be able to see the finer details in the picture, even when the setting is dark. Your old favourites will get a new lease of life, and new shows will burst from the screen.

Find shows you'll love

If you always seem to end up flicking backwards and forwards through all your streaming and TV content platforms, the Universal Guide is going to make life a lot simpler.

With all your favourites like Netflix, Prime Video, BBC iPlayer all in one place, switching between your on-demand shows and movies couldnt be easier - you'll get recommendations based on what you love to watch too. Even better, with One Remote functionality, you can control all your connected devices with just the one TV remote, so there will be less clutter on your coffee table.

The RU7100 works with Alexa and Google Assistant, so whether you're an Amazon Echo or Google Home household, your new TV will work seamlessly with your setup.

A slim design

Designed to be super slim and give you the maximum panel area for its size, the RU7100 looks lovely from every angle. With in-built cable management, it's easy to keep wires from all your consoles and content players under control, so you can enjoy completely distraction-free viewing, with nothing pulling your attention.

Says Freesat in the spec so should be yes.

Don't some of these tv's make you choose only one sort of input either sat or aerial, not always both?

It doesn't have an LNB input or DVB-S2 tuner, for that you would need the 7400 series.

Brightness is not great with the 7100 at only 150 cd/m², I expect the 7020 to be the same whereas the 7400 is 280 cd/m² which means HDR will be better and also better if you have a bright room.

Downside is that the 7400 is 10cm more in depth due to the bigger stand but that won't be a problem with most people.

Alas no longer £450 at Amazon which it was the first day of their Black Friday sale.

was just about to pull the trigger on this but the viewing angle has been slated alot which due to the placing of ours not all chairs are straight on. Shame as it ticked every box going
