hmm. great point. thanks for the input :-)
I'm on the verge of pressing buy. Anyone got one? have a 55 4k Sony tv already.
Odd that something so expensive would not carry the UltraHD Premium logo.
its not badged.. but.. 'This is after all an HDR TV from one of the leading brands on the market and its internal high dynamic range and display specs are designed to conform to the standards for “Ultra HD premium” from the UHD Alliance'

I'd be tempted to wait it out, what's wrong with your 55" 4K? If it lacks HDR you may as well wait for more content and new models.

I have the 55" & it's a brilliant tv, especially at this price (£600 cheaper than anywhere else), it is actually "Ultra HD Premium Certified" so I don't know why previous posters would say otherwise.
Also if you play Xbox/Playstation, the input lag is just about the lowest for a 4k set at this moment in time & still looks great in game mode.

some people have too much time to comment on anything but the deal. can you better the price?
it's either this or oled. reviews on the lgs overall don't seem to be as consistent though
Judging by the photo and the price I thought it might be a lease deal for a Samsung electric car! oO

Yeah the blacks are a lot better than expected for an edge lit tv tbh, I've watched a few blu rays where there are black bars & they stay jet black throughout.
I also recommend this tv if you watch any sport or other fast moving content, my last tv (samsung f7000) had some issues with motion blur whilst watching football whereas the motion on the ks9000 is so smooth in comparison.

Obviously no tv can be perfect for everybody & I may come across some faults in the future but at this price I'm sure it's one of the best all round 65" tvs available at the moment.
Did you order op ?
