If you can wait over next couple weeks (BF sale etc) and push your budget a little more I would expect the Sony Bravia KD65XF9005 to drop to around the 1k mark which would be a true bargain for what it is.

It’s last years model but a very good tv and for around a 1k it’s a steal

Also, warranty is important to me, 5 is nice.

This is 2019 model. This tv has access to all the content. Netflix, amazon, apple and so.
I dread to think what "steaming content" might be.
I see bt sports app, does it really have bt sports? Cos if it does I think I'm about to pis* my wife right off.

Hughes suggest it's only got a 50Hz refresh rate

This is a very budget model. I would go for the 65" RU7400 which will have much better picture quality and is a bit cheaper @ £683 via Samsung direct (Perks portal + 5% off).
I have one of these and for it being a budget model it certainly impresses. The 70 inch seems to be using a better panel than the 65 & 75 inch versions of the RU7100 range, I suspect the RU7020 model will also be using the same panels. You get reasonably wide viewing angles for a VA screen and reasonably vibrant colours, for it only being a 50Hz panel I’ve noticed no issues with motion handling – about the same as a native 100Hz Hisense U7A in my opinion. Cherry on top is lag free Bluetooth audio – even with super cheap Bluetooth speakers and headphones.

That costs £10 an inch too.
Drat.... think I have missed out. Code not working for me.

I am in the worst position. Husband damaged our 65" yesterday. Not worth claiming on the insurance and BF is less than 2 weeks away. 1st world problems! 🙈
