8 bit panel no hdmi 2.1

I have mates with these TVs, only thought is size, don't care if the blacks are grey and blocky, not saying this one is but they're happy with a massive TV regardless of quality.
Hmmm

The 7100 is far better than this model 899 at RGB Direct

They don't do the 7100 rage at 70 inches. As far as i'm aware there is very little difference between the 7100 and 7020 range other than features, one less HDMI port on smaller models and a different stand on the 65" and below models. Both models are physically identical (other than stand) and share the same panels.

The 7100 has superior input time for games I use it as a monitor and you're right the 7100 is 75" they don't do a 70"

8 bit panel as quoted on rusher sounds web site will not give great hdr or other uhd performance. I suspect it should be a 10 bit , 8+2 panel, but confirm. Hdmi 2.1 at this price would be tricky , it will be standard next year on 2020 models.

If it is an 8+2 panel it is good value

Fair enough mate, but a bit of perspective on price/size.
I think you are right - only 8 bit..... but.....

It’s HDR10+ / HDR / HLG
Apple TV app
Energy rating A+
289 reviews = 4.9 stars out of 5

Overall, that’s not bad really is it. Again consider price vs size...... any movie buff will naturally spend 3x plus more
