My stuff all goes through my surround system via hdmi so I only really use one. Old tv had 4, 3 of which were hardly ever used. Depends if you need more than 2 I guess.

I have sky Q, Amazon fire stick, Apple TV Sound Bar and DVD player, so need 4 HDMI

No you don't. You need 1 into the TV.
Yeah 2 ports is a nightmare, my tele downstairs only has 2 and it's a right pain... I've TiVo, Ps4, Xbox and Nvidia Shield so having to swap HDMi cables does my head in, going to buy a HDMi splitter

obviously you don't have much technology if you only need the one

I have an amplifier which they all go in to.

Can't believe many are using flat screen tvs without some external sound system.

Or use a 10 pound switch as suggested above.

Or pay an extra 200 to have this built into your TV.

Get a cheap 5.1 surround sound set up with a av amp that has about 5 hdmi connections on it, one hdmi will go to your tv and just plug all of your devices in through the amp, it sounds expensive but it's not, I paid £250 for my complete 5.1 set up from richer sounds, and the difference it makes to games and movies is great

I have ps4, bluray and sky going into my surround system via their own hdmi ports. They come straight out through one hdmi lead into tv.

By the way, can we have Richie back please?

I also have two wireless speakers which used in conjunction with my Panasonic sound bar give a great sound. I also have a HDMI swithbox, but the quality is sometimes distorted.

You would buy a tv this big without an amp or similar?
Anyone know if this is true 10bit HDR?

Thanks

Its an 8bit this is the 7020 so it's the lowest spec you can get, then the 7100 7400

I would, but i have an amp and surround already, this is , a lot of TV for the cash, yeah only 8 bit but, like, what does that really mean at this price point!

Nice to have a 10 bit at least but one of those things for average punter...would not notice unless side by side.
Price per inch is a good way to get into big screen 4k.

I don't know but it is Vesa with plenty of options. I am going to wait for mine to arrive and then measure the hole spacing to be certain.

I guess I will end up putting mine on the wall too which is a pain because my lounge extension has dry wall plastering over thermal blocks which makes me worried about the weight.

Anyone got suggestions on fixing bolts/screws and raw plugs for this?

Not tried fitting a tele this big but if you're mounting on dry wall and thermal blocks I too would be worried about then blocks as they'll just disintegrate when you drill then to put plugs in.

I'd suggest using some form of drywall anchors which you screw in and expand to give a bigger surface area on the other side so they don't come out (similar to a Rawl plug I guess) and I'd maybe look at some form of anchor or just big *** plugs for the thermal blocks. If the dry wall is on studs screw into some of them too.

That's just me but for this heavy of a tele I wouldn't be taking any chances
After my experience with the led backlights failing on my samsung after 18 months and requiring a new screen I wouldn`t go for this without a 5 year warranty
For those of you who bought one of these. What picture settings are you using?

Ive looked on AVforums but not much info about this TV.

Does anyone have any settings, Ive only got mine today and not had chance to play with it yet will be connected to SKYQ and a PS4 pro .

Mine was delivered today with a crack in the screen so very disappointed. I have contacted seller to sort out. Box was soaked at the bottom too and was so wet it was spreading up the box so I reckon it had been dropped. I have a smaller tv of same model and went for "natural" on the picture setting.
Replacement was agreed early this morning and removal/delivery taking place on 18th.
