Just bought this myself today.. reduced from £119.99.

Put it together and was very very easy, just 2 screws to attach head to the body, everything else just clips or slides in securely.

Only used it once so far, but have to say that it's much better than any other vacuum I've used before and it picked up everything, including dog hairs from the edge of the skirting board without having to use any attachments or the hose. Also used on tiled floors and laminate/floor boards and still picked up everything with no bother at all.

How noisy is it?

Not that noisy at all, a lot quieter than the other 2 vacuum cleaners I have anyway.

Thanks, 3 in stock at Huddersfield so i will pop along.

Voted hot

2.1m hose is useless for stairs. The Bissell has 5m hose enough for a flight of 12 steps. I'd wait for the next Bissell offer (last Pet Hair Eraser was £50). The Bissell is a bit noisy though but very good at cleaning. For low noise with best suction I recommend the Henry Hound as a pet cleaner (cylinder cleaner).

Good reviews on Argos from satisfied customers.

A lot cheaper than them ghastly Dyson things.

anybody willing to spread the light upon attachments provided ?

Basically it has the turbo attachment that you can use on stairs etc to help pick up dog/cat hairs etc, a crevice attachment which is just a narrow end on a tube for concentrating the suction to that area, also has an attachment that you can use on furniture/curtains.

[edit] and tested the hose length, could be better, but reaches almost all the way to the top of our stairs (13 steps) even without the extension pole or attachments, but personally I usually just take the vacuum up the stairs with me anyway and let it lean against my legs, which should be even easier with this one as it's a lot lighter than other vacuums I have used.
