Found 22nd Jul 2013
Its back. Not the standard rental version promo from the past few weeks, but full free movies to OWN, that's right, OWN forever, hoorah!

Log in to Samsung Video Hub Between 9pm and 2am to get your "Late Night Films" voucher. Remember to select "Buy" (not rent) and add your token.

Few good ones in there too, including Flight and Jack Reacher.

Go on, treat yourself, its free!

Update: I have recieved a second voucher logging on the next night, so looks like its offering out multiples again

Get a new free code each night too.
More titles added, so there should be something of interest for most.

where exactly do you go on their sight to get them? Are the physical DVD's or Downloads? Please point us to the exact link, ta

Thanks - just wish I could find a way to watch them on something bigger than my phone

OK, I need a tutorial on this!
I've picked a film, entered my email password.....then it asks me for a code!
Checked my email, I have a message from Samsung saying I have a "Buy" voucher :-
"You can view your voucher on the following pages.
Samsung Video users: [ Menu > Payment Methods ]
Video Hub users: [ Menu > My Page ] "
Googling Samsung video users doesn't help!

What have I to do? oO

i get one every time i log in but have only ever found 2 movies i wanted to watch.

Everyone who wants to redeem it just use your Video HUB Apps in your Phone or tab.
Any way video HUB is crap. mine always refresh and never works peropely.

It is nubbsih and shame for samsung.

Select the movie you want, then select to purchase it by selecting the buy button (dont worry about the price bit) when you do you should get the option to select the tick box to add voucher, job done.

Just add, the previous nights have given a voucher for rental, these ones are to actually OWN the movies, not rent them.

anyone got a film list?

I have no desire to watch a film on my phone even for free. You can't watch it on anything else either last time I checked due to the drm.

The voucher only works on films in the 'Late Night' category. Select the film you want to buy (or rent). This takes you to the select payment method screen, and there should be a voucher underneath the voucher heading (and above the credit card heading). Just tick the box next to the voucher & finish the checkout process. You'll receive a confirmation email / receipt. Make sure you download the film within 30 days though, otherwise you may not be able to! If you're struggling for space, you can alter the settings to use the memory card rather than phones memory. I've recently ordered an cable from Amazon so that I can connect my mobile to the tv via a hdmi cable

When i press the buy button screen goes grey and the message "unable to connect to network try later" pops up

I can watch them on my phone or tablet, and stream them to a smart tv. I don't have a smart tv, but a mate does and it works a treat.

Thanks for that!
I kept trying and never hit the down arrow to expand the section so that I could see the "Add Voucher" tick box.

I'll never understand Samsung, Fabulous TV's and Smartphones but sh*t software and confusing web sites!
The odd thing is, they must know their Kies software is the digital equivalent of dog poo, yet it doesn't register with them!
Bit like the Emperor's new clothes!
Thanks again!
Now downloading, but with TalkTalk POTS Service I calculate that it's going to take an hour and twenty minutes! oO
Thanks also to Rich_The_Fish, downloading "slowly" I'm hoping that it is going straight to my 64GB card, I have instructed the camera to do that so never thought about other things!
Can I "move it" once its finished downloading?

Lol cold voters for films that are free, baffles me honestly does.

none of the films mentioned are available as part of this offer. purchase only not rentals

Perfect, although its from 2008 can get me a nice quality version of Cloverfield now to replace the battered up DVD i had.

Hot!

I just get a sign-in failure every time I try to launch the Video Hub, and it immediately closes

Awesome, Thanks

Bear in mind, you can only redeem the code for Last Night Film tagged movies... (_;)

My Movie download went OK but I didn't find the storage location setting until it was half way through the download, and it was set to internal storage.
Trying to find it afterwards and it just doesn't exist!
...but it plays!!
Where the hell is it stored??
'cos I want to move it to my ext SD Card.
No point having 64GB available and everything stored on the phone's internal memory!
Anyone know where it will be on the S3 ?
The only clue is that it's only accessible via the "Video Hub" app......but it's not in the "Samsung" Folder! oO

My laptop is samsung but my two tablets and old TV aren't so it's just S3 for me.

don't think you can, its stored within the video hub app

as for the streaming, i think you can stream to a samsung smart tv, but it won't play to xbox over dnla or anything i've tried.

Video hub is a horrible horrible app, got a couple of free kids films when i got the phone, but damned if i can watch them on my telly.
Glad I've not had to pay for any films otherwise would be extremely disappointed!

I think that sums it up...it's a horrible app!
I certainly won't be paying for anything from the hub unless it changes.
Quite honestly, I'm appalled by the ridiculously low sound output of the film, you even have to breathe quietly in order to catch any of it!Similarly, any video shot with the camera is crap.
A phone costing as much as the Galaxy S3 should have far, far better sound quality than this, it is scandalous!

Can't comment for everyone using this service in there phone, but on my tablet the service works flawlessly, films are standard def but are clear and sound is easily loud enough, I don't even play them on full volume. Can only presume the hub is different on a phone.

I have used this free offer every time it has been on & so far I've downloaded/watched around 35 films...

Admittedly not all of them were worth paying for but for free it can't be turned down... I also have Samsung S2, with the Jelly Bean update. The video hub wasn't included prior to the firmware update so those without video hub should check out whether their network has an update available.

Also, I'm using an MHL adaptor to connect my S2 to my HD TV.

One similar to this one...

The quality is superb!

Again films for free, worth every penny!
