This superb AddWash™ ecoBubble™ 9kg washer dryer from Samsung delivers powerful cleaning at low temperatures by mixing air, water and detergent to create bubbles, removing dirt easily, whilst protecting fabric and saving energy. With Air Wash technology which deodorizes and refreshes clothes using hot air, this washer dryer, finished in white, is the perfect washing companion.

Samsung ecobubble™ Technology
Wash at cooler temperature and help out your pocket as well as the environment. The super-efficient ecobubble™ technology mixes air, water and detergent to create bubbles that let you wash at cooler temperatures, without compromising on the results. Get your whites and bedsheets clean and fresh without having to turn up to 60°C.

Innovative AddWash™ Door
We all know the annoyance of finding a stray sock after we have started the wash. With the AddWash™ door you can quickly drop in anything you've missed without having to pause or stop the cycle - perfect if you want to add some extra softener or put in a delicate garment for the final rinse.

The AddWash™ door can be opened while the temperature is below 50°C, which means you won't be able to open the door when the water is dangerously hot. It adds a bit of peace of mind if the kids like to 'help' with the washing.

  • AddWash™
  • ecobubble™
  • Bubble Soak
  • Digital Inverter Motor

Do you have to be a Costco member to get this deal?

Yes you do, for online membership it's £15 for a year. Even with that included, it's a great saving.
But B rating.
I’m looking for a washer dryer and seen many with better specs and less price
And these that are cheaper, are made by?
499.99, does that include VAT?

Including Vat and Delivery.
I wouldn't recommend a B rated dryer. After a year any saving you made over an A/A+ rated dryer will have been wiped out.

From quickly looking, this uses around 1kw more in a full cycle than a A rated washer dryer but uses 20% less water than the few A rated models I looked at.

It is a shame the dryers in washer dryers use so much water

Most washer dryers use water to dry the clothes which is why the don't need a vent outside
How Does the Condensation Drying System Work?A combination of hot air and cold water which creates condensation is used to dry the clothing.

The utilization of this system is why no outside venting is needed.

However, the dryer system does use water. In fact, the drying cycle may use more water than the wash cycle in some machines. The water left over from the process is simply flushed down the drain.

I only found out after reading a review and they complained the washer dryer in question used 150 litres of water during the drying process
Shows £579 online on Costco website including shipping.

Obviously the promotion will start on 27/01.

150 litres for drying does seem excessive. However it is a handy bit of knowledge to have.

It was a really bad model but glad I came across it

"In our drying runs, the Samsung took more than 6.5 hours to complete a cycle and used 149 litres of fresh drinking water to remove three litres of water from our 3.5kg test load (the water-efficiency label states it will use a whopping 210 litres to dry a full load). In the time it takes to dry a load of clothes, you could nab a cheap fare from Sydney to the Gold Coast and dry them on the beach.

I don't think that one is available in the UK, it's a 16kg was and 8kg dry.

Gobsmacked to read that washer/ dryers actually use water during the drying process!! Shamefully wasteful... if you have the vertical space surely it would be much better to stack a dryer on top? It's not as if the combos are particularly useful given you can't dry a full load anyway. Had one in a rented flat ages ago & hated it...

There are many reasons why you should avoid washer dryers. Separates are so much better and far more efficient and reliable.

I agree but a condenser/heat pump dryer can go in pretty much any room etc.. If separates are an option then 100% go for separates.
No idea why someone said it doesn't qualify for extra warranty from Samsung, a quick read of the page samsung.com/uk/…ty/ shows that this model does qualify and a purchase now would be well within the time period of the warranty offer as it lasts until August 2020.

It was a cashback from Samsung it doesn't qualify for. But they deleted the original comment.
Had this for a while. Highly recommend. Very quite too.

For me living in a flat, is a little restrictive on space. Better for security as I’m away so much.

Curry's might price match, or even John Lewis. They have both previously matched Costco, however it seams to depend on who you speak with.

hotukdeals.com/dis…584

If they don't, have you tried to join Costco for their online Membership. I know in store membership has specific criteria, I'm not sure about online though. Costco has one of the best warranties available.
Joined their online membership and ordered.
