Seems like a good deal having been looking for a washer/dryer combo since mine ruined my kitchen floor last weekend.
Specs in the link - hope it’s a good deal as I’ve just bought it!

It's a washer dryer, not a washing machine. Also £499 isn't a huge amount of money for an appliance that could potentially be used daily for the next few years.

I've had a Samsung Washer/Dryer for the last 7 years and it's been fantastic, far better than the cheap Hoover one that it replaced.

This is a good deal, heat!

You’re right, I didn’t see it was a washer and dryer. Rather stylish too.
Great price, thanks! Heat
Heat! Are these condenser dryers? Is there such a thing when buying a combi?

I'm guessing there isn't as there isn't a lot of space and washing machines are plumbed in anyway.
I've just ordered mine, I used the price match through Currys.

Currys had 2 options, one for recycling your old machine and also to install the new one. Appliance City didn't seem to offer the install option.
Can anyone comment on how decent the drying might be on this?

I had a combi at uni 10 years ago and we ended up just using it as a washing machine as nothing came out properly dried.
@cmahey thanks for your help! Live in a new build so should only really be using a condenser.

No and they're very uneconomical when doing the drying cycle. If you've got space somewhere for a separate dryer then that would be a much better option.

I had the same question and did a google research "Samsung WD80K5B10OX". On the right side you will see google reviews, click on those. Some reviews (in french) said that the drying wasn't that good or it took soo long to dry.
Does this come with a 5 year warranty?
Ours similar one did and have used it after one year when the tumble dryer part packed up and last week(3 years) when the dryer part went again. Service guys were quick to fix. But as mentioned before the dryer doesn’t dry very well at all compare to a separate tumble dryer.
I've always been sceptical of washer dryers. I just feel there's far too much to go wrong with them as they age. Yes, they're ideal for those with limited space, but for me on a rainy day you can't beat a washing machine, a clothes horse and a good dehumidifier.
