I have this ones big brother the 8kg. A great washer, with cool digital display. Samsung washers are quality so heat added

ooo looks sexy

Giving heat just for how good it looks

looks pretty pimped for a washing machine

can you believe were getting excited over a washing machine?

looks a great washer, but im not sure about the colour? Graphite? Is that like black? Reason I ask is a need a new dishwasher aswell, and as they are going to be sitting next to each other, they need to be same colour!

Hot deal

I can

This is going to get hot, hot, hot because it's the sexiest washing machine

Does anyone know if this need connecting to the hot and cold water supply or just the cold?

I bought a Samsung washing machine, a higher model to this one, from Best Buy in December and so far so good.

However, a couple of points which may be relevant to this purchase are:

1) They have a 2yr warranty
2) My washing machine is deeper than specified - believe it is 660mm and not 600mm - so you may need to double check the dimensions
3) My washing machine was cold supply only
4) Don't count on the Best Buy cashback - my £50 Quidco which tracked still hasn't been paid

i dont recommend samsung WM's (or fridges) based on our experience. washer frequently breaks down displaying different codes, the jog dial has ceased up, and now it refuses to accept the fabric conditioner which is still in the drawer after wash cycle finishes

I have one of these machines and its an excellent machine quiet and does a good wash hot price about £100 cheaper than what i paid

seems good price hot from me

most modern ones are cold only to make them more energy efficient

getting sick of all these washing machine deals, only just bought a zanussi a few weeks ago for full whack

This is only from my experience of owning another washing machine. I had a dispenser that was holding back the conditioner but all that was wrong was a blockage in part of the dispenser tray. There was a removable plastic moulding which was used as a syphon, so when extra water was pumped into the conditioner part of the tray & the level rose there was a syphon effect which sucked all of the conditioner through where it would trickle into the machine. Might be worth checking to see if yours has something similar.

Zanussi: you'll need another one soon then!;)

Must admit I've found hotpoint to only last just over 1 year and thats when I was single, but my zanussi which was a wedding gift and now 6 years old and I've twin boys is still going strong!. Think i'll get the 1600 spin Zanussi next, I'm almost wishing it to break now!

Had my samsung for the last 6 years with no problems. Reccomended, heat added.

This site costs me more than I save I'm sure

If it says 5Kg on the machine, then clearly it will only be 5KG. Good for the price though.

We've got an older Samsung WM and it's been great.

our fridge is fine

just bought a 7kg samsung for £270.99. and I got free recycle and free connection, weekend free delivery as well.

price is good for stuff you getting, but it will not last long..
Try MIELE , proper quality

ordering tomorrow

WF8602NGY = 6kg
WF8502NGY = 5kg

very good spec for the price

Anyone find a matching tumble dryer?

valentines day on Monday, I wonder if whe would appreciate this?

I have the white version of this machine myself and couldn't recommend it highly enough.

Someone mentioned Miele but to be fair the equivalent Miele spec machine is 3.5 times more expensive than this machine yet still looks pretty unattractive!

This machine has a fabric care drum to look after clothes (only a couple of high end manufacturers do this), an anti limescale heating element to help reduce limescale build up inside the machine (no-one else is doing this) and personally I think the design of the product is quite nice. I know the design is a bit subjective and if you have it in a utility room you may not care but if it is going to be on display in say your kitchen something that looks good (as far as washing machines go!) is always a bonus.

Samsung are probably the best kept secret on washing machines at the moment. This product is a bargain but even their models further up the range if you need more capacity are definitely worth a look.

Seems a decent deal, just beware Samsungs customer service should you ever need it, I've had to use them a few times and they've been nothing short of appalling considering the premium their products are often priced at.

Everytime I see a washing machine now I think of this:
