We bought this machine on the 20th of June and I wouldn't recommend it at all:

1. Child lock doesn't actually lock the on/off button which makes it useless.
2. Despite the 8kg drum size, all programs (except one) can only take 2-3 kg of load.
3. Drying is utter rubbish, the clothes come out half-wet even with the smallest load. I understand drying from a washer/dryer won't be perfect but we've had washer/dryers before and even the cheapest one was a lot better than this in drying. An engineer came from Samsung first week and he couldn't find a fault, it's just that the drying is rubbish.

Still fighting with appliances online to take it back! - their 10-days hassle free return policy is full of hassle and they tell you straight away that they won't take anything back that has been used. Not sure how anyone would decide to keep or return an appliance before using.

Don't waste your money on this, it's unnecessarily expensive.
Looked at this model when we were on the market for a new washer dryer and ended up going for the AEG L75480WD which we picked up thrugh Appliance Deals for approx £550 (after £50 cashback). Having searched online, John Lewis are doing a bit of a special deal on this model with £70.00 cashback & 5 year guarantee (I have linked this below). The AEG won the Which Best Buy award last year and we are very pleased with ours. Can highly recommend…010
I purchased a samsung eco bubble in March 2012 12kg (top of the range model)£700, when spinning it was very noisy the engineer visited a few days ago and samsung have agreed a new replacement machine as its not repairable. The new machine will have to be registered for a five year warranty again and they have a free tablet offer quids in!!!
