Info from the manufacturer :-

Care for your laundry with the Samsung ecobubble™ WF80F7E6U6W Washing Machine.

Delivering great results

Providing gentle cleaning and high quality results, the WF80F7E6U6W is an energy-efficient appliance running some of the latest in home laundry technology. Samsung ecobubble™ uses intelligent technology to act gently on clothes. This smart function froths detergent with air and water before beginning the wash. This empowers cleansing bubbles to effectively penetrate fabrics for a thorough clean. Effortlessly remove common stains such as wine, tomato, blood, chocolate and grass, as well as tougher ones too. As this doesn't require hot water, this not only provides high quality cleaning but also helps to save energy.

Quiet and long-lasting

The WF80F7E6U6W uses a digital inverter motor which uses magnets to drive the rotation, cutting down on noise and vibration thanks to reduced friction. This also helps to reduce wear on the moving parts.

Diamond drum

The streamlined Diamond drum provides deep cleaning without damaging your garments. Washing is moved gently along the drum with small holes preventing snagging.

The WF80F7E6U6W also includes an eco-friendly cleaning cycle, which reduces the dirt and detergent in the machine without the use of harsh chemicals. It will remind you to run the cleaning cycle after every 40 loads.

Programmes

There are 16 programmes to achieve the very best results. When you're short on time, the quick wash function provides excellent cleaning in as little as 15 minutes. Choose the baby care wash for your baby's clothes, whilst the hand wash and cotton programmes wash your clothes whilst protecting them from damage. The half load function means that you can cut down on the energy and water being used when you're not washing a large load.

The My Cycle function allows you to store your favourite cycle so you can recall it at the touch of a button.

Quickly resolving problems

You won't need to call for repairs with the WF80F7E6U6W Washing Machine, which allows you to use your smartphone to check for problems using Smart Check. Smart Check detects and diagnoses any problems as soon as they happen, and provides troubleshooting and solutions for your machine - all you need is a smartphone with LED scanning.

With a clean white finish, an impressive A+++ energy efficiency rating and a reassuring five-year manufacturer's guarantee, the Samsung ecobubble™ WF80F7E6U6W Washing Machine lets you wash your clothes quickly and easily

I ordered this evening and got a delivery slot for Tuesday afternoon.

This has a 5 year warranty not 2 years, worth adding to title.

Thanks. It's in the decription "highlights".....Manufacturer's 5 year parts and labour guarantee

Looks like a good deal.
I have an older model, 5 years, that is prevalent to smells and a lot of mould in the detergent drawer so hopefully this model improves on that.

Good price

this looks good, bought a similar model for £20 less last week but comes with the normal motor..want this one now instead cause of the digital inverter motor and all that quietness, would pay the extra if i could return mine
...and an extra 200rpm
anyone ever use ao.com returns? i see they say they provide free returns and then there's an asterisk that says if used we may reduce refund.

Do you have an existing washing machine installed already?
If so, it really is a doddle to install a new one in its place.

Hi

I do have an existing washing machine. I know I can not do it myself.

I wonder why they don't do an installation of this product.

Its back to £591 darn it. I really wanted this machine. I thought it was going to stay this price until end of February

It's a very good machine. 10 year warranty on the motor. 5 year parts and labour on the rest. Feature packed.
I'd say at £450 it is still a good buy.

Thanks

Great price with the bonus of £20 back from Quidco and a £10 voucher from Argos. There are cheaper models, but this one has the digital inverter motor. Bit of a wait for delivery, but worth it.

Thanks for spotting this, bang for buck it's the best washing machine I have researched. Looked at it a while ago and it was a bit pricey, after seeing your post I just bagged one for delivery on the 20th.

I went to Currys to see it in the flesh but they didnt have any, there models at £400 were awful in comparison. What I was happy to see is how nice the white finish is on other samsungs, would have preferred charcoal but it still looks very sleek in white with the big screen.

The digital inverter motor really sets this apart from the cheaper Samsungs, with the guarantees aswell I feel like I got a bargain.

Washing machine packed up yesterday, so came on here and had a look and saw this post so ordered today! Delivery coming on Friday 20th. Hope it's as good as made out, cheers for posting!

A query folks, I'm also very interested in this machine - but it has a wash time of over 3 hours and approaching 4 hours with a pre-wash. We've not had a new machine for many years so I don't know; but is this not exceptionally long?

Yep I was in the same boat as you and all the modern machines I have looked at seem to have long cycles and still they are rated A+++ which I don't get at all. I would love someone to explain it.

My understanding of it is the washes soak & spin the clothes longer, combined with the eco bubble technology it achieves a 60 degree wash quality at 20 degrees.

Heating the water being a very energy intensive part of the wash this saves a lot of energy.

There are many "custom" modes you can set to adjust the length of wash cycles and a quick 15 min wash so don't worry if your in a hurry, but these will pump the temperature up and won't be A+++ on these modes. When not heating the water they use very little electric, so it seems strange that them being on longer than old machines uses less electric but it's correct. What isn't mentioned often is the wear and tear these longer washes cause to a machine making a good warranty all the more important.

Here is a link I found which explains it far better than I attempted to lol

I ordered mine a few days ago, yesterday my mums washing machine packed up so was going to order her one aswell and thought I would leave it till today, big mistake

My hope is that it is at a random price of £591, where as it stated RRP of £575 yesterday, maybe its a placeholder price as last week it went up to £591 and a day later dropped back to £399.

Ill keep an eye on it and post back if it does indeed go down again.
