As part of Vodafone's black friday promotion, they are doing the Samsung Fast Wireless Charging Plate for only £20.
I picked 2 up from my local store, but these are available on-line as well.
Vodafone claim there is 20% off when buying 2 mobile accessories, but I couldn't make this offer work.
Charger works with other non-Samsung phones as well
Also available for 1p cheaper (£19.99) in-store and on-line at the Carphone Warehouse

These are useless for bedside tables as they glow too bright

I think you mean inductive. No contact between the 2 surfaces;

I have both, the Samsung one is FAR superior. You have to nail the dead centre of the phone on the Anker as there is a single coil. The Samsung one has two coils so its much more forgiving. As for the LED being bright, its not bright at all! One valid criticism you might have about the Samsung is it does have a fan and you can hear it if you have it really close (although you soon dont notice it)

EDIT: Just noticed this is an older model I think so the LED problem might well be so!

£40 for chargers?? Hmmm. No thanks.

I will order it from eBay.

Hmm, this model shown in the pic is the one from the S6, I have the S7-timeline variant:

amazon.co.uk/Sam…ess

Same price and as I said, the LED is small and not particularly bright

(Theres also an even newer variant)

Here is the S6 version on Amazon, its actually £1 cheaper:

Too many fake Samsung products on eBay so I wouldn't trust it. Bought lots of stuff that said it was a genuine Samsung product only for a fake to arrive.

I use one of these to charge my iPhone x, and it works lovely

Terrible reviews online

Nokia DT-910 for me. Expensive but I've used it since 2013. The elevation plus android daydream = gentle night clock!
