Samsung WW90J5456FW ecobubble™ Freestanding Washing Machine, 9kg £359 @ John lewis

LocalFound 27th Dec 2017

White with grey door.

As most of us on here are buying reliable washing machines, this comes with free 5 year warranty. John lewis has priced matched Ao.com (with their code) without any codes.
John lewis offers 2 year warranty and Samsung offers 5 so choose who you want to use within 2 years.

I saw this in currys £379 and its lovely. Soft closure, long soap trays although iv never moaned about them.

Last but not least, i am having to spend again because my Hoover dynamic 8kg lasted just bang on 2 years! Seems they are coded to last that long lol

How are these compared to the Samsung addwash? I need a new washing machine
Do they take your old one away for free?
Does it come in black?
Great machine. I did a price match instore with Currys on boxing morning. They priced matched AO with the promo code and was able to take it home then and there for 359. According to the wife it's the best Christmas present ever.
Any washer dryer deals Plz??
Cheaper at Argos £350.99 with white10 code.

Add wash has a little door inside the original door. I suggest you visit a shop to see the displays

All sold out at Argos and this is without any codes. Ao.com is with codes too, a extra £10 is well worth it with JL.
At least i could trust JL more than Ao. Com
Can I be cheeky and submit a price match request with John Lewis against AO.com as AO.com is 1p cheaper than JL (if you include connection) ?

I don't move into my new property till 5th January so thinking a price match is valid for 28 days with JL so i can use that to buy me some time?!?!?

Yes/No?!?

That's not what i meant! I know what Addwash is. I was aksing how these compare to an addwash version wheather its worth paying a little extra or just settle for one of these conventional ones.

I've just bought one for delivery on the 13th January, and there were later dates available - you shouldn't need to bother if you just want delivery after the 5th.
Who’s giving a 5 year warranty on this?

Would I be right in assuming that the warranty does not cover wear and tear, and therefore if the bearings wear out in 18 months, you are still up the proverbial creek?

Haha, well all you need to do is read the description in that case. If you have spare money and fancy showing off to your mates when they visit you then buy addwash and if your on a budget then buy this. Common sense

Why would you want to send a price match over 1p? Im sure you will find plenty of 1p coins around your home.

You have 28days to purchase when you price match with JL. Buys you some extra time should it drop further

Shot drum bearings withing 18 months are no way 'wear and tear', unless you're running a launderette business or something...

Thats what has gone faulty in my Hoover after 1 & 1/2 years and since last week its totally dead making it bang on 2 years ownership.

Its best to call Samsung about the warranty as they have a seperate team for this.
I gave them a call yesterday and she mentioned that the motor has 10 year warranty
Just bought this for £279.20 from Curry's ebay shop using the 20% off ebay code only available until 6pm today.
Price was £379 with a £30 discount and then the 20% code worked on top of that.
Hope this hopes someone.

Well, I'm thinking of cancelling my order and thinking of getting a washer dryer instead. I still think I should have gone with the LG :-/
Does this JL model have definitely 5 years warranty as it doesn't say on JL website?

Had my addwash one for about 6 months now and I find I use the addwash feature loads, adding things for just the rinse cycle etc, adding random things mid wash when I'm cleaning.e.g remembering I hadn't added a colour catcher sheet....

@misslovely....my mates wouldn't be impressed if I was to "show off my add wash feature" just take the p**s at my cleaning obsession. I do get your point though about the price, I was fortunate enough to get a really good deal at John Lewis with the addwash one while I was looking for a new one. I would have settled for not having the feature, it's useful but not a deal breaker. Also it plays a lovely tune when you turn it on or it finishes the wash! Yeah I know....need to get out more..
