washing machine more like portal machine

People must have money to burn if they can spend over £300 on washing machine. Our Beko which cost £160 8 years ago packed up yesterday so looking now but these prices are madness imo
Any recommendations? Not voted either way

We got a quickdrive at the end of last year worst machine we ever bought and paid a lot less than this.

It’s advertised as quick but only washes 5kg in around 40 minutes the LG we replaced it with does a full wash in 50 minutes not really that much of a saving.

Ours had faults, customer service was hopeless and needed their CEO team to intervene. They replaced it and it’s replacement did two washes and broke.

Again CS were poor two hours in one calland needed the CEO team to refund. The LG we bought has been excellent.

I tend to go with a 5 year parts and labour (the parts only bits are a waste of time)

I think the latter is a bit less noisy and dont forget to use the discount code. Better still find another cheap Beko that lasts 8 years! The call out will be nearly that much

I have a Samsung similar to this. Had it 4 months now and we use the 15min wash all the time. Family with two boys. Wifey loves it. Just wanted to give a non negative vote.
Regardless, i don't think washing machine anywhere are built to last like they used to be. I wouldn't get less than 5 years parts and labour if I were you whatever you end up buying.

Thx for feed back, first cycle we ran for bedding was 3hrs!!! , now using "Daily wash" which is an 1hr. Only negative is its a lot deeper than reported spec on most sites.

Electronic Empire Birmingham, Brand new, un packaged, slight mark on door and I mean slight, full Samsung warranty, this was collect price. Up and running new, impressed so far.
