If any cold voters can give a cheaper seller for this 3g version I'd genuinely like to know as thinking of purchasing. Thanks.

HOT from me, already got a samsung chrome book, love it

Another "use TD-YWP4 for an extra tenner off" deal

Hot either way, especially at a quid below £200

Thanks, but I don't believe you can combine these two voucher codes - will test later unless someone can confirm for sure.

Yup, someone tested in on the Yoshi 3DS deal, £30 off

It's in the title on the Tesco site. They have a second mode listed without when you search their site for this Chromebook...

Thanks both for confirming! I've tested for this Chromebook and can confirm it's working as you'd expect. I've updated the OP to reflect this.

Obviously in no way related to the new price or cold votes, but be aware the second hand price can be around £100-130, so worth consideration if its for yourself.

These Chromebooks really get my heart racing too much. Can't justify it as a student with hundreds of computers at college and a nexus 7 & 5 to use, but when I get to uni I might just bite...

looks like clubcard vouchers don't double up on this. Is it just HUDL stuff?

It will be cold day in hell when Microsoft Office comes to chromeOS; but then again hell did not freeze when BBM went to every platform.

Microsoft Office defies the point of a Chromebook.

Guys, having worked for Google for the last year (and trust me, I was a serious Naysayer of the product) I CANNOT recommend it enough.

If you've got Office Docs, Google Docs will open them all.
Start using Google Docs and, if it's a piece that's being used by a few people, simply share the links and you can all work on it at once (or just read over, depending on permission given)
7 Second boot up time
No viruses ..ever
Sleek and wonderfully light
HDMI, USB 3.0, Memory Card slot
Handles multiple Web Pages at once
Customise logins so that bookmarks/look/setting are specific to each person using it

It's an incredible product y'all. If you need to do deep photo editing, video editing, sound production, high-end gaming etc...this ISN'T for you. But, for the 95% of us whose use generally revolves around consumable tasks (social media, music, watching stuff etc), this is perfect.

this or toshiba? Wish Toshiba had 3g

I'm so tempted... Been looking a while. Stop making me buy stuff!!

Would have probably gone for the Toshiba myself if it had stayed at £200, but right now the Samsung with 3g is very tempting.

I'm the same, I want a 13.3 inch screen

The acer is also going through with the vouchers. So question is this one for £200 or the acre for £170?

3G will soon become obsolete, so I don't see the point, with companies like Tesco and Three offering 4G as cheap alternative to EE, I would wait till they start releasing Chromebooks with the latest tech, which think they already have.

nonsense

Wish they had the Toshiba on their site!

I actually use google drive and documents A LOT. Google documents is FANTASTIC. Shame people still stick with microsoft office, I understand that businesses do but home users..I mean come on, if you have to use a word processor why not open office?

Quite a few Amazon reviews of this product highlight poor hardware quality, lots of broken devices. Pity.

It's very tempting, but hoping that 4G version will possibly be avaialable soon, it will be much more usable with higher internet speed.

chromebook why aren't these dead yet?

If you have purchased, don't forget to (within the first 60 days of adding your first account) get over to google.co.uk/int…tml to claim:

* 100GB of Google Drive Storage for 2yrs

* 60 day trial of unlimited music from Google Play - although note, after this they will start to charge you £9.99 per month if you don't cancel so set a reminder!

supermod

I picked mine up on Thursday so thanks OP - I'm a desktop PC lover over laptops so I just wanted something small & portable with a decent battery life to browse websites and watch things like netflix etc. Loving it so far, very easy to set up and use with a responsive track pad even for someone who prefers a keyboard / mouse.

Not sorted out a sim for it yet, any recommendations appreciated

D'oh - no option to 'unlike' on this site when you select by accident?

Will have to mark this as expired now. They have changed the £10 off code to TD-YWP4 and you can no longer combine it with the £20 off code. The old £10 off shows as expired. Hope this deal was of use to a few.
