This deal is expired. Here are some options that might interest you:

I bought this exact printer for my Dad in August 2017 and it’s still going strong today using the original included toner cartridge which I think is pretty amazing. He does only really use it to print off his payslips and the odd postage label for things he’s sold on eBay but I genuinely think these little printers are hard to beat for the money and so much better suited to occasional use than expensive inkjet printers that regularly dry up despite very little use.

I discovered this deal by accident when I was in my local Curry’s to pick up a click and collect item:

I saw that this very printer was being sold as being £44.99 once cashback has been claimed so thought I would go home and do a bit a research to see whether this is exclusive to Curry’s or whether the cashback can be claimed if purchased from different retailers too.

After doing some research it turns out the £20 cashback applies no matter where the item is purchased.

Terms and conditions can be read here: h41201.www4.hp.com/WMC…spx

If you scroll to the very bottom of the terms and conditions you can see this printer is definitely included in the £20 cashback offer here:

If you follow the link on the ‘Claim Here’ part of HP’s website (HP own Samsung printers) you can also see that this printer is listed in the drop down box of eligible printers: h41201.www4.hp.com/WMC…ts/

I have decided to post the deal as being an Amazon deal as they are the cheapest by £5 but I would personally buy it from John Lewis as you get a 2 year guarantee if you buy it from them. You can also help support the high street and a retailer who pays their taxes but that’s a whole other discussion. John Lewis link is here: johnlewis.com/sam…166

I hope this deal helps somebody looking for a good cheap printer for occasional use.

Heat for such a detailed deal, thanks for going to so much trouble.
Bought this printer a few weeks back from Argos, registered the cashback and received the £20 straight into my bank account 2 weeks later. The printer itself is very compact and so far so good. Don't need to print in colour myself so laser was the obvious choice.

You've got to understand things about Amazon reviews, a lot of people are idiots and some people have unrealistic expectations. Our printer at work must have cost thousands but takes a good time to warm up. As to whether you can connect it to wi-fi, seems you can, who knows why this person couldn't? Reviews are largely meaningless anyway, half of the time they're reviewing the delivery driver or after they've had it five minutes. I'd certainly take more stock in M14x74 then who has used it successfully for 6 months.

This is what I do with mine as well. Works really well.

That’s really good to hear they pay out so quickly and that this deal really isn’t too good to be true.

You’re very welcome, sharing is caring and if someone else gets a printer and toner that lasts 2 years+ for £40 everyone’s a winner.
Great printer, the best price for toner on eBay as instead of original you can get compatible- very cheap and still great quality

My printer died again so this came in handy. Misses out on it when it was 49quid.

I'll keep the old one just to scan but not sure I'd I will miss colour printing

Neither of those seem like issues to me... I have a very similar model in the office. Yes, it takes about 15 seconds to warm up once a job is sent - this is fine, I don't expect it to be kept hot all the time just in case I decide to print something, in fact it would be negligent and wasteful if it did do that. Wireless printing is total crap, I can't say I've ever wanted or needed to use this feature - plug it in and print, no hassle or troubleshooting.

Hmm, that WiFi thing might be a deal breaker for me. I have two desktops in different rooms and it would be a pain to have to turn the other one on, login there and download files every time I wanted to print from the PC in my bedroom.
I bought this two years ago via hukd, best thing since sliced bread, also the cheap compatible toner from amazon for me is better than original!!!!
This is a great little printer I purchased mine a couple of month ago and its brilliant saves me a lot of money on ink, i regualarly print labels for my ebay shop and print around 30+ labels per week and the toner is still at 80% full great price for the kind of use and toners are cheap compared to many others..

Im looking for a basic wireless printer at the moment, so looks like this fits the bill.
Like you I'll be printing from laptop or iPad, so this one is capable of doing that?
Thanks
Good printer, had a couple and refills are Ok price too.
Solid printer
I bought this on the 9th and its let me apply. Hope it goes through. Many thanks

Printer sharing is a thing? No need to login download again. Also, I had problems with wireless printing until I realised that WiFi signal was dire where my printer was (caveat: I do not have this model). Now it's not, I do not have wireless printing problems.
Bought this 3 weeks ago. Didn't know about the cash back. thanks for the free £20!!

Yep it does airprint.
Had ours for about 6 months now, very pleased with it... it just works and that's the important bit for us after problematic previous printers

I have this printer, wireless printing works very badly from Mac, every time I switch the printer on, the wireless feature is gone, asking me to install the printer software again. Gave up and started printing via USB cable.

And the best bit with lasers is no wet ink or ink running off labels if they get damp in the post. Text is also sharper. I would choose a B&W laser over a colour inkjet any day for example, especially where they’re not in constant use and ink dries out.
I'm still using mine (non-wireless version) since that Amazon Deal around 18 months ago, when it was £24.99.

Still has the original toner and it's lightning fast to use.

Inkjet printers are such a pain and forever clogging up - not to mention messy to refill, I'd never go back.
How do u get cashback on it?
Don’t see any link or details for cashback, what am I missing here 😳
Had this for a few years - absolutely solid workhorse and works fine with generics.
Bought this about 6 months ago and liked it so much I bought one for my dad. I was researching printers and got totally exasperated with the inkjet subscription thing, so decided to plump for something super simple - I only use the printer fairly occasionally. Laser mono is as simple as it gets.
I only ever use it wirelessly btw and it work flawlessly from both my phone and my laptop. My wife couldn't believe how simple it was to use on her phone (samsung s7) - almost seemed like magic. First time I've every been surprised by the ease-of-use of a printer (i normally curse the things)
