discounted stock but super hot if you can find it.

Throughout history mankind has survived by eating food, suddenly in the 20th and 21st Century mankind lost the ability to sensibly evaluate that eating food would provide the daily nutrients they require, then mankind decided to eat crap and compensate with futility using vitamin pills.

You do not need these pills, you aren't deficient if you eat properly and if you don't eat properly you need to eat properly. And if you have an illness or genetic disorder predisposing yourself to nutrient deficiency there are better ways of treating it than this.

Another opinion presented as fact. Indeed man kind survived somehow, but life expectancy was very low before modern medicine. Some debate even the long list of vaccines each of us took at birth.

Human body is the only animal in nature along with dolphins that cannot produce its own Vitamin C.

We also eat now processed food, fast food etc which we cannot avoid, unless you are the fish master ang grow your own fish, fruits, vegetables etc.

We need vitamins. If you are involved in sports or have a stressful life even more so.

As for the studies... There are lots of them testifying the effects of vitamins, including large doses of vitamin C on cancer, one very spectacular in my opinion.

Will have a look later.

I've taken vitamins for many years - means I can eat what I like / any old rubbish and not worry about getting my 5 a day or whatever ;0

What do you mean, they are both reduced by 75%.

I'm inclined to stick with my opinion thanks, as you don't get the basic facts correct even.

Guinea pigs can't make their own Vitamin C. You're a Guinea pig if you supplement with unproven pills. There are other animals that don't so I've no idea where you got this fiction from that only humans and Dolphins can't make Vitamin C.

Linus Pauling invented mega doses of vitamins, the research does not stand up, the Orthomolecular movement is ridiculous which invents such conditions as Pyroluria, Histadelia and Histapenia. Complete pseudo science. The fact that we eat fast food does not mean we can compensate with a pill. Mega doses of vitamins are unnatural and unproven and so are multivitamins.

What I've said is more leaning towards fact than unproven supplementation of multi vitamins. We don't have the technnology yet to analyse nutrient requirement on an individual basis. Supplementation may be of use in the future when we have a clearer picture and can take in to genetic variants and sub types. If you take these vitamin pills you have no idea whether they're being absorbed effectively and whether they're doing you any good or not. This is a case of using a sledgehammer to crack a nut. Bung everything in to a tablet based on what we think are the recommended daily intakes of vitamins and minerals, and in plenty of products they up the dosages more based on pseudo science. If you eat crap you can't compensate with a vitamin pill.

Eating properly is the main objective.

good price but as mentioned unnecessary. complete placebo in my opinion

Not available in my store - just been there and they're a ludicrous £6.99.

Still never sure why some stores have discounts on items, as these are normal branded products that presumably will sell anyway. Maybe they just don't in Peterlee or something and they've been reduced by the manager.

Twas full price at my local too.

Great deal! I used these last year and didn't get a cough or cold all winter. Great little vitamins
