If less than 14 days then possibly under distance selling regulations. If more, you could try a nicely worded email to customer services, telling them you're a huge advocate of their business and would they pretty please refund the difference.

I wonder if this SSD is as good as the samsung 840 pro

This has to be the best Gb per pound SSD deal around at the moment. I have looked and cant beat it. Read/Write is a little slower than some others but enough that it makes any difference to general use? No! Great deal, wondering if its a pricing error. I don't need anymore but if someone does I wouldn't hang around long.

Top find! Heat.

No, the Samsung 840 Pro is much better.

The IOPS on this model are very low.

Brilliant little find JPS

Hurry, will not be around long at this price!

Actually Amazon are amazing with this stuff. I ordered Halo: TMCC from them on the 2nd of November. Due to Amazons Christmas returns period being extended to the end of January for all products ordered after the 1st of November and also a £10 price drop I thought I'd be cheeky and try and get some form of refund. 5 minute talk with their live chat and I have my £10 back!

In short, if its within the 30 days return period just ask for the difference to be refunded :P

Just bought, can finally use some of those Amazon credit i had from Christmas lol.

From looking into these things before I think the Kingston drives have been found to be a con, advertised and reviewed at certain speeds, only for them now to be produced cheaper and not as well performing as stated.

Great SSD I got mine on eBay some time ago for £40 worth the price

Only got sata 2 on my board. no more room for a s3 pcie card either. would still be a bump up but my os drive partition probably cant be shrunk down to fit on this if I move stuff off it. even if I defrag there are prolly unmovable files... suppose I could try booting from a live cd and defragging outside of the windows on the disc to move system files. might work, or not. could use it to install games on I suppose. could move firefox to it but the main used files are on the windows disc regardless... hmmmm... still... good price, heat!

Good deal... though I'm just a bit weary about this Sandisk model as we've had a few of them go dead at work.

Nice deal, ordered cheers! Heat added

Will this fit my Macbook Pro 15 mid-2010? Or is there any other better ssd? I just need one to speed up my laptop.

How many machines at work do you have with them?
What software are they running on their machines?

We've had quite a few Intel SSD failures, but then we've had thousands of machines with them in, and running software that thrashes them, as well as encryption software that is killing them...

The moral of this story? Corporate use can ruin otherwise very reliable drives, so take those failures with a pinch of salt.

Should be a case of finding the Hard Drive, unscrewing it, plopping the SSD in its' place and then reinstalling Windows or whatever OS back onto it. You will need to re-download the drivers though so make sure you have your Ethernet/Wifi driver on a USB stick or something as you will find it hard downloading without network!

If you Google "How to replace Hard Drive on //Laptop Model Here// " chances are there's a guide for it somewhere.

Also here's a nice little link on how to transfer your current O/S without starting from scratch...

It's old, but still relevant

Iops look awful. For the money, I'm not sure this is even a fair price. £40-50 is a good price for a much better SSD.

And personally I won't be buying, even though the price is great. 3 out 5 of these on work computers failed badly. Not representative of the whole maybe, but enough to make me want to skip them

Not impressed lately with then at all, 4 drives installed 120gig SSD and all just failed outside warranty, all different units doing different things.

Not buy again sorry cold from us

Great price. Difference to hdd is very noticeable when I upgeaded.

I hate this website

Always buy things I don't need

Avoid the v300 at all cost. It has been on here over and over again. Bait and switch. This is way better. You get what is advertised.

Thanks OP ordered one Have some heat.

Just a normal price for what it is...

I have no need for this product... but something inside of me is telling me to buy the damn thing!

Good find OP! Heat!
