Good deal. I've heard bad things about SanDisk micro SD cards (mainly from HUKD posters on these deals) but this price and a 10 year warranty is great . It says write speed unspecified but will be good enough for most people I imagine who don't need 4k transfer speeds etc

Think these are 80mb/s so decent enough, ordered for a CCTV camera as emergency storage when network down.

I buy almost exclusively SanDisk micro SD cards
They dominate the market of Micro SD cards

So I don't know why anyone would be complaining about them..
I think maybe you've misunderstood negative remarks about a particular model/version of a SanDisk card as remarks against them as a company?
Are these suitable for camera?

Are these suitable for camera?

yes, it has a micros sd to sd card adaptor. No problems at all for camera use and for video rcording up to full HD. Not suited to 4k video recording as you need U3 rated card for that.

This is a class 10 rated card which is a minimum continous writing of 10mb/s. Thats good enough for video recording up to HD definition. The 80mb shown on the pack is the read speed, not the write speed.

The vast majority of my cards have been Sandisk ones and I have never had a problem with any and even the 1gb ones I have from way back then are still working (I have 1, 2, 4, 8, 16, 32, 64, 128 sandisks - extremes and ultra IIs) )

I'd get a Lexar 633x or a high endurance card for CCTV camera use. These cards are not suited for that. As an emergency measure they will be fine but they will become unreliable quicker than the high endurance cards.

Is only for the brief moment I reboot the server not for continuous use.

reading has no effect on the longevity of the card. so yes appropriate use.

it can be used for Nintendo switch, however you will get better performance with the Samsung Evo plus. The Samsung costs £5 more than this though.

It will be fine for go Pro for recording 1080 resolution, but not suitable for 4k resolution.

I bought lexar last year , my friend too. His failed after 4 months. Mine failed few days ago. It says card is write protected, I can read but can't write. I can't even send it back as can't delete my photos from the card. I tried everything from the Internet, but it doesn't work

I've tried a few but none worked, however there's about 4% cashback on Quidco/TCB.
(Also Quidco have their "Hoppy Easter" game.)
In my experience SanDisk cards are too unreliable and claiming under via warranty is a long winded process.
Thanks OP
1 left in stock and I bought it. Yay!

It is the best card for nintendo switch, the switch natively supports UHS1 and the extra speed from a UHS3 card (eg Samsung Evo Plus) is lost due to the bottleneck. Sandisk is also endorsed by Nintendo so you can always feel confident it will be supported with updates etc

Mymemory Discount Code's what?
Thanks, was just about to pay £34 on Amazon
Wow, I'm in constant awe at the size of these things. Once it was 'thumb' drives, but now 128gb is the size of a small fingernail. I have a tiny samsung 128gb usb in the bedroom tv with over 100 720p cult movies, and it blows my mind how shelves of better-than-dvd quality movies are contained in something the size of a grasshopper.

CCTV camera?

These aren't compatible with use in CCTV as they wear out due to lower durability TLC Nand memory they use.

They're specifically excluded from the warranty as CCTV use causes them to fail.

When the card becomes too unreliable to write to it becomes locked so you can access the data but you cannot write to it. I'm afraid the card has reached the end of its useful life. At least that is better than hard drives which crash and you lose everything you had. This is what happens to cards with TLC memory and this is why cards using tlc memory should not be used in digicams and IP cameras - devices that constantly write for long periods.

What model lexar card do you have?

we have seen the Samsung 128gb U3 proper 65mb/s write speed for around £27. It make sense to spend more for a much better value more expensive faster card.
Is this any faster than the SanDisk A1 cards? I got one from picstop for 29.99 which I haven't received yet. I intend to use it for internal memory on a Moto g5, so thought that was most suitable. I think the SanDisk ultra is supposed to be slightly quicker, but not sure if it's better for use for mobile adopted storage.

That lexar high performance 633x 128GB. It's been used in my Samsung galaxy s7 since January 2017 and never been taken out of the phone. I am not happy, but at least I didn't lose data :-) I will try Integral 90Mb/s now.

You'll be more amazed to find there are 512gb ones this size. Thats larger than the size of 2.5" hard drives which were standard a few years back and larger the the majority of SSD drives now used in computers.
