Check that class 2 is going to be quick enough before you buy this.

good price, anything good for a class 4 or 6 though? (it is only for a phone, but still...)

Class 4 is £16 at Play play.com/Mob…rch

Don't know if it's worth the extra 2 quid, but I've ordered the Play one.

There seems to be some debate as to whether that one on Play is actually Class 4. You able to confirm that it actually is, because it doesn't say so in the description.

Thanks, I cancelled the order, I'll look for a faster card methinks!

class shouldn't make a difference for that. even if read speed was only 1MB/S that'd be enough for most phone films.
there is a thread atm with unbranded 16gb class 10 for 20quid from lowpricememory - seem to report back as good so far

Class relates to write speed, not read speed.

Hi Folks,

I ended up going for this one: - lowpricememory.co.uk/low…868

Class 10, 16GB £19.99

All the best,
Ash

yeah thats the one i meant.

I also went for the class 10 from lowpricememory

Still a good price fro 16gb of storage though, even if the speed may not meet some people's requirements

I saw this a few days ago and suspected that it might not be a class 10. Please let us know if it is actually a class 10.

Thanks

quite a few test average speed of 10MB/s with them
hotukdeals.com/dea…388
strictly speaking not class but cant really measure min speed easily

ordered - thanks op! wanted the sandisk reliability - happy to go for slower card - tbh its only going to be used to play music and photos on phone - so speed should do me ok.
Also - its for my san fran - and the faster cards seem to give the phone more trouble!

Thanks have ordered that one.

Bought 2 of these the other day (although at a higher price (£15.99)! ****) Fortunately class 4's arrived.

just arrived in the post,. can confirm it is a class 4 copied over my files from my sandisk class 2 memory card (through a usb pen drive adapter to my pc) and it was copying at around 13mb/s. copying onto my new 16gb card (from pc to pen) and its only going at 5.17mb/s

edit: copied from 16gb to pc to test and was going at around 19.3mb/s so its quicker than my old sandisk class 2 (8gb)

you never reported how the old class 2 is for writing onto the card

Ok I've bitten the bullet and ordered, fingers crossed for a class 4 !

mine arrived today - was a class 4

Yep just got mine, class 4 too assuming it's not fake

hmm only seem to be able to write to it at about 3.3MB/s... is this the pulse, my laptop or a dodgy card do we think?

I'll check out on my desktop after work...

class 4 as well

class4 too

I received a class 4 too.
