Nice one Juliet, looks like a great deal:thumbsup:

Another excellent find JB.

Getting a 4 GB Micro M2 with Pro Duo adaptor is still(£3) cheaper, but for those that just want a Pro Duo, this is the cheapest that I have ever seen.

I have an 8gb M2 with adaptor in my PSP, works great. It cost £14.99 lol (used my £20 lovefilm voucher at dvd.co.uk)

and to think i paid £34 half a year ago

So what are you moaning about after six months usage?

:-D

Hey everybody does it when this happens - I just decided to hop on the bandwagon for once :-D

this is A HOT DEAL!

to jump on to the bandwagon... I paid £87 for 4GB less than a year ago, beat that!

1GB sticks were £99 at GAME when the PSP came out, beat that!

Good deal.

You haven't looked far:hotukdeals.com/for…006

Indeed.. Google search failed me big time :).

If you put +4GB + pro +Duo in the advanced search, and select "Deals" it is the 4th result.

there is also another one cheaper: hotukdeals.com/ite…om/

Or check this thread:hotukdeals.com/ite…ro/

whats the difference between this and the M2 4gb with adaptor ??? any performance diff??

Well you're a fool then as you'd be hard pushed to find a place selling them for such a high price excluding the high street maybe...

According to the "blurb" on the play.com site the Mico M2 is better, it has a faster minimum write speed.

Edit: According to dvd.co.uk, it has the same read/write speed as the Pro Duo. So it is at least equal to the Pro Duo "Proper".

the MSPD actually has a read/write speed of:

read : 15.9599 MiB/sec (Blocksize 1024.0k)
write : 5.4131 MiB/sec (Blocksize 1024.0k)

using blackspeed (on a psp).

The write speed isn't brilliant but the read speed (which is important for console usage) is better than the M2.

What does the M2 have when performing the same test?

What does the M2 have when performing the same test?

I only did the test once (was only borrowing a M2 so didn't have long with it) but got 13mb/sec - I'd like to do the test a couple more times (formatted as fat16 as well as fat32) to say that that is definitely the speed. xquaker.com/bs/…rar if you want to give it a try yourself.

Still faster than an official sony MSPD (~10mb) or a MicroSDHC card in an adapter (~8mb) though.
