How is £6.99 cheaper than £5.99?

Exactly what I was thinking!

I bought it from Play. No problem. Cheapest I can find on the internet.

Thanks for the heads up, I had one and lost it but at this price I can get another! Perfect, off on hol next week so could use the extra memory on my phone for MP3's! Heat added, brilliant price

the price in amazon changes with different suppliers who has the stocks, some supplier it is cheaper and sometimes it is more expensive(take not also some prices are not including delivery)

Far superior card ]here for a mere 80p more! Only 50p more if you buy 2+ It also has the SD card adapter, which is very handy ;-)

7dayshop are rock solid as far as customer service and reliability goes.

The transend card at 7 day shop is faster but the quality/reliability of sandisk is much better. The only card ive ever had go wrong was a transend, not too bad as it was only a 512mb and didnt have much on it but imagine a 4gb possibly on holiday full of photos. You would be gutted that you opted for a cheap brand.

I have 20+ Transcend cards of varying speed and sizes, never had a problem, in fact i'd say there the best brand I've ever used. They have a lifetime warranty also. I've only ever had two memory cards die on me, Kiingston and Sandisk.

Anyone know where I can find one with a USB adapter and comes with micro SD card?

Dealextreme offer MicroSD/USB Reader packages. The brand of card they use is Kingston. Just bear in mind that delivery is usually about 7 - 10 days when ordering from dealextreme although I have never had a problem.

I also own a class 6 8GB transcend card, but the only card to fail on me has been a Kingston.

Still thinking whether it's worth sending back the card to Kingston for warranty since it's 2Gb and cost about £6 in the first place. Although the pictures on it are priceless, so perhaps they can somehow recover them. I've tried every tool I could find including DOS utilities but no luck.

You got a link? Might be being stupid but could not find one - looking for 2GB

Pretty good deal - H&R

I'd agree with Transcend being the best.

I bought 4 Class 6 16Gb cards a year ago, never had a problem with any. Had a Kingston and a Sandisk one fail though and with much less use.

Cheers - none in stock - hopefully they will get some soon!!

ordered mine from a powerseller on amazon, same price.

Ordered cards from play before and they never turned up, I guess they are a risk for being small, non sign for and having play written on the packaging. I do use play a lot though, even though they take 5 days to deliver.

Are they guaranteed to be genuine though? Last time I checked they weren't.

"About one-fourth the size of a standard SD card"

I would have said it was more like a quarter, personally.

WOW! What an insight! Of course I thought that and that's why I wouldn't have posted your link. The price of memory can fluctuate rapidly, changing price on some sites through out the day. The price of the OP memory could have done exactly what your link did (go up in price). The point is, like any 'bargain', you need to get it while it's hot.

ordered from amazon, was £5.99 inc delivery and came with SD card adapter. 2 day delivery, stated 3-5 day. No retail packaging.
