that be true, but still a good price for a last minute gift or if you are a pirate and need to stick a film on it, say, if you are at a friends house etc, arggg!

Hey Tommy_K

And a free jiffy postal bag to recycle, too!

Bought 3 of these for £14.99 from Play.com the other day. Not a bad price if you are in a rush though and just want the one..

Don't know if these are the same ones, but 3 for £14.99 at Play.

Thanks for the rep guys..... like I said, you can save a few more pence on-line but I needed a USB memory stick today and thought there might be some people out there who might have the same urgent need!!

I got mine from Tesco in Boston, Lincolnshire if that helps.... had loads of them!!!!

Helped me out, needed one today! Was marked up at £7 exactly for some reason at my store. Have some heat and rep.

Good stick. Its readyboost compatible too for those with Vista.
I've have one in my computer now as a readyboost drive...

had seen these at these price last week in store..they had 4gb SD card reduced as well for around 6£

Good price for a well-performing memory stick, but a word of warning which I posted the last time this sort of deal came up:

I have a couple of these 4GB sticks and a while ago one of them got corrupted (as they do) and was rendered useless. Sandisk has a long warranty period for these but to get them fixed/replaced you need to send the faulty item to an address in the Czech Republic, suitably padded and packaged. This will end up costing nearly as much as buying a new one and you'll be without a memory stick for at least 2-3 weeks so there's not much point.

So consider it as effectively having no warranty but, saying that, they are generally very reliable and I just got unlucky with mine.

Return to seller. Job done.

Yeah your course of action is with the retailer not the manufacturer.
