as title states its a 8gb not 16gb so cant really compare

I ordered a micro sd card from Play.com on 2nd April and still havent received it. The order status is "order taken". Why on earth do play.com take orders when they havent even got the item in stock to send out in the first place? This has happened to me before with Play.com. And no effort on the part of play.com to explain the situation or keep me informed about whats happening. I used to use them quite a lot but have regularly had problems with them in the last 2 years and am going to cease to do so.

Good price, but I would warn that Class 2 (which guarantees 2MB/s transfer) can be annoyingly slow for large file transfers. 8GB at 2MB/s = over an hour! However that is guaranteed slowest performance and it will probably be quite a bit faster, but even twice as fast it would take over half an hour to fill - longer if it was a lot of small files.

It depends how you intend to use it, just bear this in mind.

You can compare as you get a better deal buying a faster double capacity 16gb for less than 2 of those slower ones :-)
