I'm guessing Grangemouth?
Good find even if it is store specific

Hopefully other locals in the area may have them. Good price. Thanks

Someone posted about these a few days back. My local never dropped them this low, and are now back to full price (nearly £20 for the 16gbs)
In Queensferry today - they were not reduced - I think the 4GB was £5.

I bought a couple today. Please note that it was the coloured ones that were reduced while the black ones were still full price.
I bought 2 tonight in the Alloa store, was in yesterday and they had a display, the 4gb were £2.50 and the 8gb were £4, but were sold out at that time, this evening they had the 4gb in again
Went there on Saturday hoping to get:

Asda 600g Mature Cheddar £1.89 ...
SanDisk Cruzer 4Gb £2.50 & 8Gb £4 - hotukdeals.com/dea…153
Swarfega 500g £1 - hotukdeals.com/dea…734

Guess how many of the so-called deals were actually deals?
Im guessing sales must be low in the area where they drop the price of the 4GB stick...they get you in to buy other stuff!!

Scunner I saw the Swarfega too but did not bother looking at the price, might have got another bargain too!
can't see any in my long eaton one..

Posted the other day. I checked Wolstanton yesterday and Friday while in for other stuff, still £5 and £8.

If you Google for the second string of numbers and letters near the barcode around the only site they seem to show up on is Walmart, maybe they had Sandisk produce a ton of them in custom colours? I've only seen the black Cruzers before elsewhere (and the silver ones with the metal housing, way back).
Asda Govan had quite a few of the 4gb for £2.50

good price, but 16gb will be perfect
Give up with these asda deals now always a wild goose chase for me
They had a bunch in the Alloa store this morning reduced, and the guy said more to come in. I left 2 pink ones on the rack and took the 2 lime green. Thanks again, OP.

Is that because Asda is owned by Walmart perhaps?
I'll have a look at ASAD Smallheath, Birmingahm in an hour or so

That, but what I meant is these seem to have been made for Walmart/Asda instead of for the market in general.

OP, what kind of speeds are you getting with the one you had?

Sorry not tried it yet, been too busy trying to get a Touchpad or at work!
I have an old 2Gb version of this, good speed, but it is fairly flimsy, and the sliding thing is now broken. I now buy Transcend sticks; they are recogised by the PC instantly, and have very good transfer speeds.
No sign of these in Asda Corby. Shelf of similar, most reduced by 10% or so, but no sign of Sandisks.
Mine had some Maxells and Vertabims, then these Sandisk ones in the seasonal isle in a "back to school" section.
£5.00 in my local, these Asda deals are almost always non existant around these parts
Went into Cannock Asda earlier, still priced at £5 all colours.
The magic incantation "sandisk cruzer" that turns hukdealers' brains to mush.
Couldnt see any in my store, Keighley.

Picked up another 5 tonight for workmates, all lime green though, the blue ones had gone and nobody wanted pink ones!
anyone able to photo or scan a recipt in. we may be able to get customer service to reduce the price with that.
You need to be careful where you look for these. In my local Adsa they have the black ones at the main entrance with the photographic stuff and they are all full price - £ 17 for the 8GB and I think £ 5 or so for the 4GB. The coloured ones are with the DVD's, mp3 players, mobile phones etc. and these were the ones that were reduced - £ 2.50 for the 4GB and £ 4 for the 8GB.
Looks cute in blue.
All completely gone from Wolstanton now (isle contents has been changed). And were never reduced. Bah.

Looks like it's not worth inestigating unless living in a deprived area.
Finally found them on the shelf in my local asda (corby) - 4gb still £5, 8gb oos.

they of course had the black in other parts of the store, 8gb £17 and that's reduced!
They had about 50 of these in the Edinburgh Asda (Slateford) in the discount section where the bread/homeware sections meet

I can confirm they were 2.50 (bought one myself)
