Voting hot just to elevate this from all the HMV deals cluttering up the new deals page.

Nice size/ price but I find it too slow so hardly use it

Looks like my car key.

Good price, but it feels a bit cheap and it is painfully slow. would be okay for photos and word files.

hot as a fire:p

Truth be told, I view this as a false economy. I've found in my experience it to be poorly constructed and dreadfully slow. As in it's actually cringeworthy when borrowing a film of a mate etc. It's fine for reading various small things, but apart from that I would avoid.

Just my 0.02c

i bought one of these the other week from amazon purely for the use of installing games and playing from my xbox - I've had no issues with speed whilst playing - hot from me!!

bought one of these back when it was £11.99 and it is an alright piece of kit, but i must agree at the painfully slow speeds. worst memory stick i own in that respect.

Agree about it being very slow. I would look elsewhere for a faster memory stick

You won't have any problem with speed while you play, read speed is actually very good on these, its the write speed that's horribly slow. I've got one that I bought a few months ago and can only echo most of the comments above: slow read speed and all plastic construction (including the usb connector/tip itself makes it feel worryingly light and flimsy. Don't use mine much at all, as the plastic tip feels like it could break if you don't handle it very carefully and once that goes all it is fit for is the bin. I use mine to store stuff I am not likely to need to access often. Bit of a waste of money really.

Didn't see the 12.99 deal on play but got it from amazon.

Very pleased as I've just accepted the fact that my previous flash drive is definitely lost and needed a nice cheap replacement, so thank you for for posting.

I have one - as others have posted, it's incredibly slow

Agree with all the poor quality comments. A false economy.

i have one, slow and feels cheap

but good price for the size

gone up in price now

hardly ever use mine as just too slow.

I purchased one of these 3 weeks ago and it's broken already where I had it attached to my keyring. Cheap quality build but ok for a spare knocking around the house.

I was finding it hard to choose between this and the Kingston one on Amazon for a similar price. I did not know it was on this website as a deal and am upset I did not read the comments here first.

The item is cheap and small but it feels flimsy. Worst bit is, it is painfully SLOW!!! So slow, 2-3mb/sec I want to return the item and get the other Kingston Data-traveller
