These are not the faster drives they run at 2-5 mbytes per second on my PC I get 10-16 mbytes per second on the cruisers model also 16gb. This is the entry level model.

was £12.99 on play.com last week. still a good price though

i'm sure it'll get hot cos it's a decent price for a small, branded drive. but O. M. G are these things slow just btw...
painfully slow for any truly huge files.

not to mention thet key ring hole breaks rather easily

Painfully slow, but cheap back up if you don't trust hard drives like me for the irreplaceable files

I stick a back up of all my photos and HD video on these and keep in a fireproof safe

I did notice the keyring hole was a bit weak so i got my self a extra key ring

amazing how this is hot, this has been the same price on amazon for the past 3 months, and before that it was even cheaper! sorry but no deal here

It's not bad a price but if buying a flash drive try and go with USB3.0 as flash drives can last for years.

16GB 7dayshop.com/cat…102

Works fine on all USB2.0 obviously.

Forward compatible

slow... slow... and errr, oh yeh... slow

My transfer rate seems fine... But then again i use it mostly to transfer pics and word documents.

I've got it attached to the dangley bit of the key ring and not the main/central metal ring cos you're right it does look a bit weak and easy to break if sat on awkward position.
