How lower can these go? LOL I spent 29.99 on a 16mb one about 10 years ago from maplin I think it was. Nobody knew what they were and USB seemed still quite new to people!

Certainly cheap but very poor reviews on Amazon and other sites. You pays your money and takes your choice. Was tempted but think I'll pass on this one.

the 32gb versions of these are incredibly slow, probably the slowest flash drive i've ever used, i'd assume these 16gb ones are worse.

also not keen on the retractable connector that generally you have to hold with your thumb whenever you plug it into a usb socket as the locking mechanism is useless.

I would never by this one again. It broke down after first use. Can't copy anything to the drive or from it. It was just a waste of money.

Are these really that bad? I can believe them being slow at writing and to a lesser extent reading but SanDisk generally produces very good hardware - I almost always buy them with very few issues to report.
