Saw this and it looks a good deal. Voted hot.
I need a 32 or 64 GB low profile flash drive but it must be a minimum Class 10.

Anyone know the speed of this one? Thanks in advance.

Regardless, what point were you trying to make?

Yes it can with an OTG cable, but why would you? The idea was that a card can be fitted in any device, while and USB stick can't

not expensive and there are different types.
'nano card reader' was the term i used i think in google as cant remember the 'proper' term

Cruzer Fit is not suitable for Xbox360 if anyone is wondering, the Integral Fusion Metal is better, in fact its better for both PC /laptop and Xbox360 as its faster. I own both.

Include 'SDXC' in your search. SDHC cards range from 4GB to 32GB, SDXC cards are 64GB upwards.

This is all a bit confusing.
USB3.0 is faster than usb 2. what write speed should we be looking for in a usb drive, flash drive or micro card that can utilise the higher speeds that usb 2 simply cant match.
Personally, I'm looking for a fast portable drive to use on my new Haswell rig. I don't want to buy a USB3 device only to find a high end usb 2 device can beat it.
Ideally a 32gb flash drive would suite me but I don't mind paying more for a larger drive if I can get lightning speeds transferring big files (6gb).

usb2 typically tops out at 25-30mb/s so anything more than that is 'usb3 speeds'
you can get much faster than those with usb3 just depends what you want to pay

actually ..does it look like i care about capitals?
i was quoting a speed comparable to any quoted on product specs
which is what anyone asking what speed usb2 was would want, rather than someone going beardy
i also said mb and not Mb so said nothing about megabits anyway and would have used bit rather than b for clarity if necessary which it wasn't

No, it looks like you lack the mental capacity to realise the difference judging by your childish and rude response.

Your quoted speed was wrong and clearly not comparable to any product specifications (unless those specifications were also off by a factor of 8 lol).

If you're going to comment, try to make sure your information is accurate. And then if you are corrected by someone, try not to be so ignorant, rude and childish!

There is a MASSIVE difference between 'b' and 'B' - If you aren't going to use them correctly, then nobody is going to be able to understand what you mean.

Anybody with a GCSE in science will be able to tell you how important capitalisation of units is!

P.S. Is there something wrong with the 'shift' button on your keyboard?

is there something wrong with your own shift key? you forgot to capitalise your own name which is an error.. oh dear. more than a touch hypocritical.

a person asking about the speed of usb does not give a crap about bits and bytes - product specs will be in bytes so numbers given in Mb/mb/MB or unitless are the same for those purposes
(you may notice they ask about gb as well)

i am well aware of the difference between the them and i did not need to be corrected for me but good on you for your nerd rage, i am sure that helped boxer out no end 'mr bond'

Thanks OP. Going for one of these to use with my Chromebook.

Nope, there is nothing wrong with my shift key. 'sdutton007' isn't a NAME per se and as such doesn't need to be capitalised. However, the first letter of each sentence MUST be capitalised but I will forgive this since you obviously don't have the brain-power to be able to press a key while holding down the shift key.

A person asking about the speed of anything does need to know the units otherwise it is absolutely meaningless. If you were to buy a flash drive with a speed of '100', how the hell are you supposed to know what the speed is without the unit? Many computer components are measured in bytes (such as hard drives), others are measured in bits (such as network speeds) - units are necessary.

If everyone followed your lackadaisical approach to science and units, we would still be stuck in the dark ages!

You clearly weren't aware of the difference between them (or are too stupid to care). Your comment did need to be corrected so as to not mislead other people on this forum.

I hope I have helped 'Boxer' out by answering his question correctly instead of telling him that they are 1/8th of the speed they actually are.

There really is no reason for this silly argument. You made a mistake, I corrected you in a reasonable manner and instead of accepting it and learning from your mistake, you instead have a childish little tantrum and resort to insults.

Some people are just too ignorant to reason with!

Thank you both for trying to help.

And thanks for the entertainment

Good stuff. Are you using it with a Chromebook too?

Tempted to order anything else with the 10% off voucher they sent (if you were a new customer)?

Back to the topic, this USB stick is ideal if you have a USB input in the car which you'd like to just fill and leave attached. It's barely visible to passers by and safe from knocks. Cars like recent Renault Scenics for example.
