Ideal for Playstation Classic builds and completely hidden once plugged in Thanks to @baseley09

The 32GB Cruzer Fit USB Flash Drive is cleverly designed with a low-profile. That means you can slot it neatly into notebooks, tablets, TVs or car audios, even in the tightest spaces, and keep it there without fear of knocking it. Please note: this USB no longer comes with a cap.

Yeah but usb 3 won't play on most tv's.

USB 3 is backwards compatible with USB 2, they should work fine in a USB 2 port.

For an extra 20p you can get one with a capAnd USB 3.0

Is it a MAGA cap?

These are ideal for Playstation Classic builds, using a 64gb one currently.
The playstation classic won't take usb3... Until you've hacked with usb2. For the most part.

You'd think so but my usb 3 stick won't work in either of our three tvs but will in my laptop or xbox. Tv's don't provide enough juice for usb 3.

Yeah I think it's the weak tv usb power output that's the problem
For PSX classic you'd be better off getting something like amazon.co.uk/gp/…tle and a cheap 256GB microsd. I use that with a My memory one and have a load of PlayStation along with a large Retroarch library.
Thanks, lost my usbs on the weekend so this is a steal...
I have one of these, and in my experience you dont want one.
The problem is due to the size, and is 2-fold.

The first issue that they are hard to plug in, and remove - because of the size.

The second, and by far the bigger issue, is that when under some load (ie more than a couple of minutes of heavy data transfer, either read or write) they heat up - and because there is v little metal, the heat doesnt dissipate well, and they just overheat and stop.
So, its literally impossible for me to transfer say 500 x mp3 songs on to this, unless i do about 20 at a time then pause, let it cool, then 20 more, pause.... horrible.
Hmm, good enough for movies via smart TV?

Use a usb 3 stick on my (usb 2) Sony TV. Works fine.

I have recently for a better and slightly cheaper USB drive
But not a compact
Can't believe I've voted hot twice on Sandisk today. Great price.

I'm using a chinese one off eBay, its been ok so far although I did have to reformat my card the other day as Windows wouldn't recognize it, but I've had to re-install retroboot a number of times when using a USB stick so I'm not sure it's the adapter.

It's a good (cheap) solution if you already have old SD cards lying around.

Might just be your TVs. USB 3 works perfectly fine on my TVs and other devices.

Wanted mine ASAP and the the Amazon one came the next day (can be a tad impatient).

Had Chinese ones before and one still working but one failed after about two weeks so went for a named brand.

Also installed the OTG patch and bought a y cable for the PSX, looks way neater now
Got two of these now unable to format...
Hardly used them

I have multiple USB 3.0 sticks under many different brands and they all (without exception) work fine in 2.0 ports. Unless its an older 2.5 inch mechanical hard drive the 500mA a normal USB port provides should be more than adequate for a flash based drive. I suspect you have a faulty drive.

Have you checked how the device is formatted and what the TV supports?

Pretty sure my LG TV refused my Samsung fit drive but after a format it did (I forget the details to actually be helpful)

Actually you might have a point, I formatted mine to ntsc (I think?) Because it wouldn't let me put big movie files on it otherwise. Is there any other way to do that do you know?
I've got a 64GB usb3 one, luckily it works perfectly on my ps classic. Going to get an otg adapter so i can use both controllers again soon

NTFS is not compatible. Try formatting it as exFAT (assuming the file is above ~2gb being FAT32's limit)
Noted voted either way. They are useful for transferring files but the main problem for me is that it overheats - it actually crashes my Chromebook when I use it to watch TV shows, etc.

How much can you fit onto this?

All psx and 16bit and earlier?

Yeah I've heard of failures, I guess QC isn't great. I actually bought a couple of other even cheaper ones (50p each :D) as backups but all are still working so far.

I had a mare trying to get OTG working with bleemsync and actually got stuck in recovery mode until I realised what was going on I gave up in the end. I also tried autobleem again the other night and analogue controls has some promise but isn't there yet.

I've only loaded about 30 ps1 games so far, and about 30 or 40 retro games. Google "arcade punks" and they have complete builds that are 128GB and 256GB. If I remember right, a ps1 game is anything up to 660MB (I may be wrong) so depending on how many games you want to install, the space will fill up quickly. Nothing stopping you having different games on different usb drives ofcourse.

I had an old desktop that didn't like USB3's - worked perfectly with USB2 flash drives, but USB3 I had to push it in fully then out just a bit. Maybe try that.
Great price! Amazes me how small these things are.
