Thanks Grab a 64gb one. They're twice that price on amazon
Very good deal. Particularly the 64GB, voted hot!
Are these the USB drives which get extremely hot during normal use?

I was just about to make that comment. Yep, these get hot.
USB 2.0, not 3.0
The 64gb is 2.0
And the 32gb

Very hot, and that makes the electronics and connections very brittle. Had a couple of the 32GB ones for use in the car, one failed after two days and one after a few weeks. Replaced with a normal size one.

Personally would avoid like the plague if you planing inserting and removing them frequently.

Only when writing to them.

I load mine up with music files once, then keep it in the car. No issues.

Purchased and voted hot, thank you poster.

I tended to swap my tracks about a fair bit so it was often being removed and, because it was always being read by the car, always hot.

Now got a new car which will take higher capacity sticks so gone for a normal sized 256gb one and had no issues at all.

I haven't had an issue with my 32gb.

It's been used to watch telly shows via it for hours, with no issues. For many years. In my pc, partners pc, three different xboxs. Oh and it got a good going in the PS3 too before I moved to Xbox One when it first came out (so it's been used for a very long time).

To be honest, the biggest issue for me is its size! Somehow... I've managed to keep hold of mine for years despite its teeny size. And I lose things all the time. Yet it's small-scale is also so damn handy. There's a love-hate thing going on there as you can see.

Half thinking of getting a 64gb one. Not that I need another one!

I’ve got a few in my car and have no problems with them at all.

LOL - that's such a millennial thing - "upgraded my car to bluetooth"! Has anyone else noticed that cars are now being advertised by virtue of it's ability to create a WiFi hotspot?

Heat added btw...

I've got a Kingston 32GB the same sort of size which I've used with the old car and now my PS Classic, not had any issues myself.

This specific Sandisk though, yeah did have to the point where My Memory didn't replace it the second time. Instead they sent an email saying they had withdrawn them from sale and were refunding me.
Hot, bought 64gb version off Amazon for 8 quid a few weeks ago. Useful bit of kit. I keep it plugged in my laptop. Does get warm but still seems to work fine.
64 gig now £ 10.49
No issues with these and I've used them for over 10 years.
Hot... also useful as a storage device.

I had the same issue with 128gb Lexar.. died after a while.

I have a skoda kodiak , the usb gets hot. No complaints other than that
Out of stock on both 32GB and 64GB now
Ordered a couple to go with all my other empty ones
Operating temperature 0°-35°

Feels more like 50°C when writing data... it's basically designed to fail

Yeah similar here on the latter part. Mines a 256Gb so i've now no need to be swapping it in and out.

If you're a requirement to be writing large files to this repeatedly then this isnt the drive for you.

Write once, Read many activities such as loading it up infrequently with music files for playing in a car then its fine, or moving small files about then fine also.

Speeds are pretty bad...
