Another few quid price drop on this one. Use as a filler (spend £4 more) or free postage for Amazon Prime.

NB doing a price match with PC World would give you 10% of £39.99 - £9.99 = £3.00, so £9.99 - £3.00 = £6.99!

Hot. Just ordered

Plus delivery?

If considering this for ReadyBoosting Vista then be warned : I am fairly sure that MS ReadyBoost can only use a MAXIMUM of 4GB so the other 4GB w/be wasted in that application of this USB stick (as I also believe that you can't use the rest of the stick for another parallel purpose at the same time, but I may be wrong on that aspect).

You can use up to 4GB of flash for ReadyBoost (which turns out to be 8GB of cache w/ the compression)

So £9.99 each after price match?

PCworld price match condition "The competitor must have the item in stock and website prices must include delivery. Single unit purchases only. " So including delivery charge on this from amazon is £12.74. So price match of £6.99 is wrong as in original poster?

PC World will only match Amazon sold items, if you have got one of these you are lucky, cos the seller is Sandisk themselves on the Amazon site, they refer this as a marketplace seller, and will not match.

the item is being sold by amazon themselves not a marketplace seller as is eligable for prime delivery.

It's being sold by their Jersey counterpart (Indigostarfish.com) and so PC World will NOT Price Match it.

I've tried this countless times - PC World will refute the claim because it is "sold by Amazon's preferred merchant", whether it is eligible for prime delivery or not.

Yes, technically PCWorld shouldn't price match this on two counts 1. Price doesn't include delivery and they shouldn't price match multiple items, and 2. its not sold by Amazon.

You may get lucky though so worth a go. In my experience PCWorld staff are pretty clueless (it took 3 managers to work out a price match for a monitor I bought last week and they still did it wrong!) I managed it in my head.

Still a hot price!

That's exactly what they said to me :-(

Hi All

Just got my local PC World in central Leeds to price match this for £6.99! Bargain!

Went to PC World in Colchester with the amazon.co.uk page printed out.
They said okay that will be £9.99
I said what about my other 10% off. They said they had to speak to the manager
as I already had £30 off.
The assistant came back, said okay and took another £4 off.

So total bargain of £5.99

Everyone in the office is green with envy.

this has gone down to 8.50 now - if you paid 9.99 then get in touch with amazon to get the difference back

I'd love to know as well if anyone is prepared to let on. :whistling:

Incidentally, what are the thoughts of anybody on the Titanium versions of these? Do they really warrant nearly double the cost?!?

I had one U3 of this type but only 4GB it worked well, but then it stopped?!
No idea what happened but it doesn't seam to start now at all I am a bit disappointed
especially that i had some data on it. Therefore probably don;t recommend it to you.
Voted Cold, altrough i did enjoy u3, having all my mail on the stick for some tim

Best.

went into PC World today and got a price match deal... although I seem to have made a mistake and got the Titanium version instead (which was in store at £34.99). got for £7.50 after price match.
