Good price - I paid £19.99 for the 4gb a few months ago!

Very disappointing if true. One of the main reasons I buy from them. Was the information from Amazon themselves?

Anyone knows how many years warranty these has, cause I had a jetflash which died on me and I sent it back even though I got it from ebay, I got a brand new replacement with lifetime warranty.

PC World have it for £39.99.

pcworld.co.uk/mar…id=

Not sure if you can get them to pricematch it (for around £8.63 with the extra 10%) or if you have to include delivery in the Amazon price - can anyone shed some light?

They should match it 110% but they will usually add delivery. I got one for £8.24 with PCW price match a few weeks back. They honoured a merchants price on Amazon @ £8.59 and got the postage slightly lower than it should have been.

They won't match anything sold by "Amazon's preferred merchant" for a start!

I've tried!

Great! Almost bought this from Amazon at the weekend for £13.49!

Have some heat.

Can l used this on ASUS Eee laptop

Yeah, would need to be £15 to get free delivery, so you would need to make up to that total - to do so, you might find this site handy: filleritem.com/uk.…tml

Prime is amazons scheme where you pay a fee, but then get free delivery on almost all orders or something... most pages would have a link to this so probably best to get the detail from there. Looks like it might be of more value to frequent amazon buyers than anyone though.

signed up to prime free trial and used my £2.50 'match hunt' voucher to make it £8.98 delivered!
thanks OP!

If I wanted 2 of these at £22.96 delivered, would PCW price match this? And would the price be £17.26 for both? TIA

Scrap that, just seen the "Single unit purchases only" clause. Shame! H+R added.

Thanks to all those who left heat or rep, I'm glad it has been a useful find.

To the poster asking about using this with an EEE. Yes, you can, although you could also use an 8gb sdhc card which will go in the slot rather than a USB port. An SDHC card will be a better option if you intend to use it as a quasi extra hard drive rather than to transfer data between computers, as you won't have something sticking out like you would with the usb drive. There have been a few posted over thee last week, just search for sdhc.

Is this Transcend 8Gb SDHC Class 6 Flash Memory Card fit Asus eee pc, Thanks mate

Definitely. I am using it in mine right now. If ordering it from amazon, make sure you get it from amazon themselves rather than one of the market place sellers. Sometimes the amazon direct option is quite low down in the list of new purchase options.

Up to £17.99 now, but a great deal while it lasted. The great thing about memory sticks etc, though, is that if you miss out on a deal like this, you know that if you wait a little while the 'deal' price just becomes the standard price when the price drops. Thanks to the OP & rep added.

You sure? The link still shows £11.48 for me.

Try ]this one at Play.com as an alternative. It's much smaller and feel better in your hand. I know it's a bit more, but with a varsity card (5% off) and Quidco it's about the same money. Free delivery too, so no need for a "filler" item.

You're right. I kept it in the basket, and it went up to £17.99, then back down again. I've yet to work out how Amazon's dynamic pricing works!;-)

Thanks for the rep. You were definitely right about the brief price rise as well. I tried to get a second one at that time and it showed as £17.99. Back down now to £11.48 though as you and others said.

Now showing as £13.49, how much it was when I went to buy it a few days ago...

Sorry, not been back for few days, so missed your question.

Yes, 16gb sdhc is fine. 32gb too, but they are still a bit pricey.
