I chucked in a few postcodes and it seems to be readily available, if not Currys sell it also though finding stock will probably be hard.

This is quite a bit smaller than the U3 equivalent and for that reason (obviously) it doesn't have U3 functionality.

I think people generally prefer the U3 enabled ones such as the SanDisk Cruzer Micro, not so much for the U3'ability, but because they are Windows Vista ReadyBoost compliant - certainly that was my logic for buying an 8GB one from Amazon for under a tenner (as found on here) that rather than a cheaper/lower-spec one. Look out for the "Enhanced for Windows ReadyBoost™" on the SanDisk website. Obviously ReadyBoost is irrelevant if all you are after is data storage/transfer; though I presume that passing ReadyBoost criteria must mean FASTER circuitry in the device and hence shorter data copying.

I prefer these over the U3 equiv. purely because of the size difference but each to their own :thumbsup:.
