Sold by BaseCH, which I take it is a 3rd party seller, what's the chance these will be fakes?

It's Base itself based in Switzerland. So, you can rely on them. Mine Samsung Evo came from there.
Bought 5 :), RPi builds scheduled for all. BTW if anyone's considering these for the same, there's a convincing write-up on the Net by Jeff Geerling which supports these as a favorable choice, among the Samsung Evo+ and Pro+.
I have a Nokia 7+ and want to increase storage (temporary only, for videos)
Will this memory card be suitable ?
I understand memory sizes, but all those other numbers / classes etc ... over my head

I’ve bought a secondary phone Samsung Galaxy Note 8 so which one would you recommend. Preferably 128GB as 32GB ain’t a lot and 64GB sounds ok.
What microsd card would I need for a Samsung Galaxy Note 8 and looking for a 128GB preferably or 64gb is fine too

Would recommend a Samsung Evo micro SD. Reasonably priced, quick and reliable.

I would have thought this would be a reasonable usage case for you.
Good for home camera recording on motion.

Thanks OP - using a Pi 4b 4gig as a desktop and the I/O seems to be the main bottleneck now, this should help quite a bit (at least approach the SD Card device's maximum RW speeds).
My kids been needing these for their fire tablets so ordered two. Thanks OP, heat added

I would hope not. If you're writing a lot of IO surely an external drive would be a better solution ? Normal use as a desktop would not create an io bottleneck unless you're doing something funky with it.
I have heard that the usb3 controller on the pi4 can cause thermal throttling by the CPU.
these compatible for nintendo switch consoles does anyone know?
Looks expired, showing up as 6.99 here
Ordered cheers op.

Oh no this is about speed for general workstation use - I'm using it as a small scale linux workstation, it's plugged into a 24" screen and doing rather well at this but the standard I/O card I have in there is struggling handling cache loads, browser components, etc. - it actually leads to browser crash, the CPU and memory load just aren't there. I don't use this system for much direct I/O normally, I have other systems for that (including a Rock64 2gig which is used for larger scale file storage connected to USB3). The need for this card is purely for primary I/O functions.
7.99 for me, is there a code?
