Bought one last week for £25

Thanks Frank. It's 128GB in the picture so not easy to spot. though I didn't report your post.
Anyone using this in a GoPro Hero 6 Black or similar? Had a google and a few people seemed to have issues using the 128 card, but the 64 is listed as recommended on their website.
Is this better than the Transcend card which is only £12.79?

I would rather buy this at this price over Transcend.

For a mobile phone this (SanDisk) is much better. SanDisk has A2 performance, Transcend card for £12.79 is only A1 performance.
Was interested until I saw the word Amazon.
Is it good for the DJI Mavic Air drone?
4k, continuous recording etc..?

Yes, it is
Just an FYI that if anybody is buying the 64GB version, Halfords are price matching Amazon here but they're also having a Flash sale with 10% off using coupon code: FLASH1 which brings price down to £10.34 (free click and collect)

Such a good price. Don’t know whether to buy or just wait for 128gb cards to come down even more. I have 64GB cards already and an odd 128gb one but would rather start to invest in the later sizes as it’s only going up and up.
I was in the middle of making that Halfords purchase- code worked- right before payment went through they refreshed the page and changed the price without code. They’ve removed the code now so can’t be used on this. Everyone else got the same?

I had logged in and have a trade account so that’s why it wouldn’t allow the code. Logged out and tried and it worked.

It'll work fine but this card is optimised for app performance

If you are going to be recording a lot onto a card, then you want one designed for continuous recording.

A card designed for continuous recording should last longer.

And which card in the sandisk range is best suited for stuff like this then?

I only say this because they recommend this card for drones and actions cams themselves. So surely issue of continuous recording and longevity is not an issue on this card...

Well they sell one called "High Endurance"
Whether it's worth the extra money depends on how much you use it.
If it's just a casual hobby, and you use it once or twice a week, then I don't suppose it matters.
If you're a professional making video as a job, you'll wear out your cards faster and should consider higher endurance cards.

Their high endurance cards don’t seem to go above full hd so you can’t record at 4K. They need to fix there naming and ranges. I personally these are tried and tested for drone and action cam use so don’t think there is an issue with cards wearing out.

Thanks brutes! Nice to know. I actually went and looked on the sandisk site prior to posting above and was surprised they only do full hd but having gone back and re read, I skimmed through and missed the info about 4K recording.

So these are about double the price of the extreme ones. It does say they are more geared for dashcams and security cams and don’t even mention drones and action cams. ‘Engineered to handle 20,000 hours’ where as the extreme ones are ‘10,000’.

I still think this would be overkill for action cams and drones but good option if you want to be super safe

It's like the previous comments, It's up to you how's your habit of overwriting or else Extremes are alright too.
Perfect timing, just bought a go pro
Many thanks. My old memory card died on me after 5 years service :-)
