Worth ordering something else too to bump the total over £15 and get free delivery. Good deal - I paid more than this for the class 6 one from Play.

£12.49 delivered or collected @ PCW price matching Play but still a good price. With key-ring pouch, usb reader and recovery sw.

I wonder does it come with one of those USB adapters? If not better off buying elsewhere for a few pennies extra.

The 8GB Extreme III SD(HC) is also available from Amazon for £21.39 delivered.

This same card (as OP) can be bought from Base.com which definitely includes the USB adapter + software for £13.98 delivered.

If you're after the '30MB/s Edition' then I would be sure it states so before ordering. For example the ones I can see at base.com and play.com both state 20MB/s and therefore aren't the '30MB/s Edition' ;-)

I was under the impression that all Extreme III cards were the same... so I take it from your reply that they aren't?

Thats right, now available with 30MB/S as opposed to 20MB/S.

Both great cards for recording HD video on your cameras such as the Lumix TZ5

The 20MB/s version is in the process of being replaced by the 30MB/s version. The speed is marked on the packaging but not all retailers have the new version and of those that do, not all state what version they have.

I've bought Extreme III CF cards from Play which stated 20MB/s on the page but I received 30MB/s versions. I expected this as I did some forum searching beforehand to find out what versions people have been getting from the various stores.

I see :).

That's what worries me though, the picture on Amazon is wrong and no one mentions receiving the newer card in the reviews / comments. I might take a punt as I can always return it.

Free postage-paid returns if item is "not as described" at Amazon so nothing to worry about.

Excellent, going to buy the 8GB alternative I mentioned above as it also states 30 MB/s in the description.
