New tech always fetches a premium as the company claws back some of its R&D costs. This is also the extreme version, so better on performance.

£300+ in the UK last time I checked so this is a good deal! Heat added.
Wait till we're going on about how you could fit 1TB onto something the size on your thumbnail and the next generation are rolling their eyes and looking at us like cavemen.
Smoking hot deal -- less than half price compared to their UK cost.

And Amazon's UK deals in comparison with Amazon's US ones are absolute garbage, as always. If there aren't any killer deals on tomorrow, I'm cancelling Amazon Prime the next day.
. . . and when you lose it ??

Generally it goes in your phone and stays there? But it's still too much for the privilege of this - roughly 2x the price per GB of the smaller 256 and 400GB cards. I don't need this much anyway, I just end up hoarding crap.
Hm... I seem to remember that Sandisk (and probably others) had some trouble when they started with the 200GB and 25GB models. Too many cards simply broke after not very excessive usage. This has died down so I assume they have these (teething?) problems solved. Then again, putting the transistors required for 1TB into such a small form factor and making sure there's no overheating... I'd be careful, never mind the price.

I'd like to hear whether people have run into trouble with these high capacity cards.
