£25 saving from Amazon UK - not an amazing deal hence the cold votes.

Thanks for posting though.
Better off picking up an Nvme drive + an enclosure which probably will be slightly cheaper than this and better speeds. Not voted but better saving than the UK offering.

With a fee free card its close to £30 saving - but the voting on here can always be interesting, so thats fine. Still feels like a good saving for a quality product. Thanks for checking the deal and commenting

Chin up, it happens
Thanks
Voted hot, again cold votes without any justification. 20% more expensive in The UK, I don't understand what expectations others have.

Maybe its just the fatigue setting in with all the Amazon Germany deals, but surely that shouldn't be the reason to vote cold - a deal is a deal, I feel.

This looks like a good deal, not sure why this is cold. I've voted hot. Thanks OP.
I saw a comment earlier which says £25 saving from Amazon UK. Are you sure it's the same item? If yes, link please?

It is a deal. Much cheaper than in the UK. I have a WD SSD already, but if I was but choose in between these 2, I like the Samsung deal more.

Thats what I thought too mate, thats why I posted it. It was posted 2 weeks back at almost £10 more (yes from UK but still) hotukdeals.com/dea…629

Initially stating the deal is 'amazing' and then editing the OP description to state it is 'decent' once it goes cold, would be something i can enlighten you with as to why it will most likely remain cold now.

There you go buddy

You have been here long enough and you really think that thats whats making the deal cold - interesting finding Once a deal starts going cold it stays cold - likewise for a deal going hot - thats just how majority voting here works mate. And given the initial voting on this, it will end up being super cold, I am sadly aware of that. Anyways thanks once again for your insight, will keep that in mind next time.

I said why it will remain cold buddy, not what has made it go cold initially

I am aware of how voting works buddy.

But hey man, you do what you need to do. Edit the description/title.

Thanks for your response

Not surprised. My JBL deal for £55 got about 300 hot, posted a new deal with a code, making it just under £50 and did not get even 100 hot.
I posted a deal for a 2 in 1 tablet, was posted before and got 300 hot, mine ended up 50 cold and if the code was not expiring it would have got even colder. This is despite the fact all the comments left were positive.

Almost £30, this is 20% cheaper than in The UK. Is 20% off not a great deal? Was over 300 hot for £7 more. When somebody posts an eBay 20% off code, the deal gets thousands hot...

I've got one of these and they are excellent. Thanks OP for this.
This hard drive is incredible. Really fast and small. I really reccommend it.

In China, I bought it for about £60, which was ridiculously cheaper than UK prices. I thought it was going to be a fake, but it came, and the speeds were up to the specs.
Seems like a great saving over the UK price so I've given heat, for what it's worth.

I don't understand voting here sometimes though.

I see people voting cold on good deals and wonder why sometimes - could be the best price ever and some will still vote down

The past couple of deals I posted have struggled to get hot, despite them being a few hundred degrees when posted previously (at higher prices too) - one got there eventually and the other is close but unlikely to get there now.

I think sometimes it's who posts that helps - I'd have thought you'd get more exposure which should help, but I guess as an expert you also have some unwarranted hate against you too.

Maybe posting at certain times affects things too - the wrong people seeing a deal first and then others following the voting rather than using their own brain to vote? But I don't know how that can be avoided.

You have summed it up really well there, it can be inconsistent and sometimes deals just go either hot or cold belying logic, but that’s just down to the first wind on the deal. Given how much I post, sometimes I have to take it on the chin and move on. Thanks for the fab comment and heat by the way
