On the Amazon Deals day (or whatever it's called) it was 20. Just don't remember whether € or £, so amazon.de or co.uk.

Still lowest price for the long time, voted hot

Not sure where/what you saw to be frank. But the black friday prime memebers price last year was i think 26.99 which i thought was good and ordered a few.

Can you share a link to to the card you are referring to?

We're looking for a new card for our Sony rx100. Thanks.
Looking to get a extra SD card for my Canon M6, actually using this same card for it right now.

But wondering, if it’s a good idea to get a micro SD card and use adaptor?
Or are the spec(speed) of micro SD cards not good enough or not as good in price/performance

Its not made for that use. These are pro cards so made for lots of writes and reads whereas the micro sd cards are not to the same spec. For longevity and consistency its best to get this card.
I have 8 and not a fault yet on these.
Different story on some old CF cards, ive had two fail with minimal use. These were very old one about 1GB from around 2004. A few years after, maybe 3-4 of very rare use they stopped working.

Apart from that Sandisk has been reliable for me.

As a comprison for like for like. Ive never had a Sandisk SD card fail on me yet (touch wood). However, ive had two Lexar Pro SD cards fail on me. I got them replaced from Lexar direct without hassle. Luckily i didnt have anything important on them.
