The Ultra is one of Sandisks slowest cards - far better to pay the extra fiver for the Extreme Pro

Don't think this card supports 4k recording. Correct me if I'm wrong.

You know if they actually advertised it as 95 read and 90 write, rather than "170MB/s" it would remove a lot of the confusion.

If only they would - but its not going happen
Does anyone have any experience with the store? Never heard of it before so want to be sure it's reputable before ordering Thanks in advance

I think they bought Sandisk. So, they're the manufacturer now. Never had issues yet but delivery can be slower.
15% off when registering as student paid £57

Amazing, thanks for your help! And thanks OP, I've been on the hunt for a new SD card for the past two weeks now as my phone storage is dangerously full! Perfect timing and also the max external storage capacity for my S9 Even used the student discount!

Stay safe and home on HUKD guys
Could fit some jazz on that!

Or if they used slightly less deceptive model names like Ultra, Extreme, Extreme Pro etc. Got all excited because I'm after a high speed SD card for the camera, but there are UHS-1 and UHS-2 cards both called Extreme Pro and both with VERY different read write speeds. Unfortunately this is the slower. Still amazing price for capacity for the like of a phone!
What is everyone's use cases?
Can this card handle 4k @ 60fps?
I can confirm the student discount works!

Every SanDisk card I buy goes corrupt sticking with Samsung
Heat

Buy because I *need* it, and then keep it in the loft, like so many HUKD things

Wow, good example of Moore's law in action here. Heat from me. Will be a terabyte for a few quid in a few years time.
I can also get the discount using my daughters student discount, Im finding myself considering buying it at the same time as knowing I have absolutely no need for it, I have a 128gb card and have never run out of storage on that, yet im still sat hovering over add to cart

Exactly the same, 128gb phone memory built-in with a 128gb card to boot which doesn't even have 1gb on it, yet I'm still considering this!!
Bought for £55ish through Perksatwork who are giving 20% off.

the elderly discount worked a treat for me
would this be overkill for a switch?

I used my mother in law's driving license, and paid and had it delivered in my name, worked a treat

Unless having the additional space will allow you to change the way you do things eg hold all your music collection locally in lossless quality or save all your photos in RAW format, then I wouldn't bother. If and when you need 400gb of storage it is likely to be even cheaper.
Wish someone other than huawei would bring out a copy of there card for my p30 pro 😏
