is that not the older 20mb/sec version of the extreme iii card play.com are selling?

probably wouldn't make a whole lot of difference to most people though i suppose

The Play 'blurb' claims the extreme III as 30Mb/s

Edit: Sorry - Mumbo - cross posted ;-)

No. Read the description and it states "Fast 30MB/ sec sequential … No. Read the description and it states "Fast 30MB/ sec sequential read/write speeds".

Yes I had noticed that and compared it to what Amazon were selling at £14.81; which is also Extreme III but here it said was only 20mb/s read/write so was put off. They also had same as 7day shop one but for £17.97 plus £1.99 postage.

Is this definitely the 30MB / sec sequential read/write speed because the picture on Play.com is for a 20MB / sec card and doesn't match the one on the Sandisk / 7dayshop site? :?

Yes. Even Play.com wouldn't state "30 MB/s" and provide a "product tour" … Yes. Even Play.com wouldn't state "30 MB/s" and provide a "product tour" video that states "30MB/s" and then send a different product. Would they? :?

Don't know, that's why I asked, thought you may have bought one? You'd think with all the statements and videos they could at least get the picture right.

I think there has been some confusion over these cards for awhile, if you look at the reviews on Amazon you will see people complaining of getting the lower speed card, when they thought they had bought the faster one.
I would think the rule would be "If it doesn't say 30M/B's on the tin it's probably not 30M/B's in the tin"

7 day have a habit of not supplying the retail packs ......

*
• Images of items offered for sale are for illustrative purposes only.
• To achieve the very best selling prices, some products are split from manufacturers packs or multi-packs, and therefore may not arrive boxed.
*

which means you probably wont get the Rescue Pro software.

Did anyone get theirs from 7 day shop? did it look like the 30MB/s Card above?
