Nifty little flashdrive for those with an iPhone, iPad or Mac. Apple have these on their site with a compatibility list, which I'll pop at the bottom of the description. £69.99 is the best price I can find right now, but the £5 off code above also works. Total £64.99 delivered.

I don't think the hub is better - in fact it isn't comparable. The hub lets you transfer from SD/USB stick to your Apple device - so your iphone/ipad needs sufficient space to accept the video for example.

With the ixpand you play from the USB flash drive - no need for spare space on your device, that's much of the point really. Also the other way round you can (for example) shoot video direct to the ixpand.
Can't agree - continuously transferring video in & out of your apple device versus playing direct from a flash drive...being able to record direct to flash drive...over my lifetime I'd happily pay the extra for convenience and lack of need to ensure space on ipad/iphone. You can stick with your bulky Chinese cr4p though Till Apple stop it working anyways
